1  Entertainment / Poetry/Prose / You Created A Cult on: October 30, 2004, 02:45:40 PM
A treacherous and dirty scheme
This brainwashing has been your dream
To lead your proselytes astray
To follow in your wicked way

Forgetting what is right and true
They prostitute themselves to you
Enveloped in the lies you tell
They’re smiling all the way to hell

You promise them a life of peace
Where hatred and deceit will cease
And they control their destiny
Inside is their eternity

They have only them to answer to
You teach, “Your only god is you”
You’ve taught them that you’re all they need
You listen while they recite your creed

You know you own their every breath
Belief in you will bring their death
But you press on and dig your holes
The graves for all their captured souls

But in the end you can’t evade
Your blood will drip from judgment’s blade
Your prophecies consumed by fire
Eternal flames that never tire

3  Entertainment / Poetry/Prose / When There Was No Hope on: September 01, 2004, 03:33:39 PM
When there was nothing that could save me
And when there was no way out
And the only thing that I could see
Was all I was without

You became nothing and gave me all
A deep and healing flood
Of your love in spite of my reckless fall
Drenched me in your blood

So what do I say to my faithful friend
Who wouldn't quit on me?
My Savior who loved me to the end
King of eternity?

Instead of my words I'll use this life
He gave to me to live
I'll seal it with my blood, dear Christ
My every praise I'll give

And when I finally do fade away
To my Savior's side
In His arms I'll gladly stay
In His Glory I'll reside

5  Prayer / Prayer Requests / Pray Hard for this Church on: August 14, 2004, 11:53:13 AM
Hey guys, pray for Standing Stones Christian Church. This church will be a year old tomorrow and we're being lazy and we're not following the Lord. There are demons in this church, and we're unfocused. I'm as much to blame as anybody. So please, brothers and sisters, be in prayer for us. PRAY HARD. A lot could depend on it. In fact, the whole existence of the church depends on your prayers. Remember, we're not fighting against the physical, but the powers of darkness in the spiritual realm. PRAY

Thanks and God bless. Smiley
6  Theology / General Theology / Re:Why Do People Go To Hell? on: August 14, 2004, 09:36:39 AM
In answer to your question, read 2 Peter chapter 2.

Also, 1 John 5:10-12. "He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life."
7  Theology / Debate / Re:IS WATER BAPTISM A TESTIMONY? on: August 14, 2004, 09:21:23 AM
Brother Love, you haven't been baptized? I'm very curious why you wouldn't be baptized... did Jesus not say "Go into all the world and make disciples of every nation BAPTIZING them in the name of the Father and the son and the Holy Spirit... teaching them to OBEY all I have COMMANDED and I will be with you till the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20.

First Jesus commands us to go make disciples. Then He says BAPTIZE them. Then He says to TEACH them everything He commanded. Well, my friend, did Jesus not just command for us to baptize those into God's family? How can one say, "Baptism isn't necessary?" when jesus Himself said to go do it? Then He said to teach others to do the same.

"When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, 'Brothers, what shall we do?'
Peter replied, "Repent and be BAPTIZED, EVERY ONE OF YOU, in the name of JESUS CHRIST for THE FORGIVENESS of your SINS. And you will RECIEVE the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God WILL CALL (that's you and me friend)."
Acts 2:37-39

It's right there in the Bible. Not something made by man by commanded by the Lord Himself. And if you choose to reject that, then you reject the Bible, and you reject God's promises and blessings friend. And I don't understand why one would want to do that.

God bless.

Nope. It isn't accurate from what I've read and heard about how they portray Christians. Not gonna' waste my time on more Hollywood garbage.
9  Theology / Debate / Re:The Race and Interpersonal Relationships Survey on: August 13, 2004, 01:49:52 PM
Yea, i thought this was weird. All that stuff about romantic partners..lol... but I took it anyways Grin
10  Theology / Debate / Re:IS WATER BAPTISM A TESTIMONY? on: August 13, 2004, 01:34:50 PM
Baptism is essential. Those who teach you don't have to be baptized are plainly and simply going against the very command of Christ, "Baptize them in the name of the father, Son and Holy Spirit..." And if anyone ever teaches someone differently, he is a liar and he does not know the truth. Follow Christ and His example, not the ideas of man or the traditions of a church.
11  Theology / Debate / Re:Abortion, Who is Responsible? on: August 13, 2004, 01:31:29 PM
I'm very strongly against the murder of innocent children, but it's true: it's our fault. It's our parents' fault. Because the one's who know the truth but aren't willing to share it, or the one's too scared, or the ones too lazy, those are the ones responisible for letting a lot of horrible things happen, including abortion. Who's behind it is quite obvious. It's Satan himself. I guess he figured us out right: we're not going to try and stop him. Now, don't get me wrong, there are many people standing up for the unborn. But not all of them. Not enough. And I believe for everyone who doesn't, the blood of each baby is on his/her head.
12  Entertainment / Music / Re:POD on: August 10, 2004, 03:14:28 PM
I totally agree, avex11. They sold out and I just can't listen to them anymore. Actually, I hated their cd Satellite. They're not all that hard really. I wasn't too impressed with their cd. and true, Alive is a good song. I thought it was about God and stuff, but their video on MTV is definitely not proclaiming that message.

After seeing that video, and how much they've changed, I would never recommend POD to anybody, especially a Christian, simply because they are not a group of musicians to look up to. And that's my opnion. Smiley
13  Entertainment / Poetry/Prose / I Nail The Man on: August 03, 2004, 12:45:55 PM
Raising the man up
I nail his bloody hands to the tree
And his bloody feet
Brush against me

He is limp and he's weak
But I scowl when he smiles at me
And with each nail
I feel the blood flow down

Like a river it flows down upon my face
As I look up at his mangled flesh
And I swear I can taste
The blood  he's spilling

And back away and look
At what I've done
And I see him looking at me
Piercing through me like the nails I drove through him

And all I can do
Is walk away

Yep. I like Three Wooden Crosses too. And tougher than nails is a good one.
15  Entertainment / Poetry/Prose / Persecuted on: July 23, 2004, 03:58:25 PM
A single tear
Face full of fear
She takes her stand
He takes her hand

Bullet pierces her flesh
It’s not over yet
She could run far away
But instead she will stay

Down on her knees
While all others flee
She raises her head
Beaten and bled

Eyes meet the blade
“Deny and be saved!”
But she will not lie
As she looks to the sky

Now she can see
She is finally free
“Forgive them I pray
They’ve all lost their way”

Then ends her life
With the cut of the knife
But there ends the pain
Now eternity’s reign
