1  Prayer / Answered Prayer / Little girl found on: August 17, 2006, 10:45:00 PM
While reading the Prayer Request forum and watching the Giants/Chiefs game a police announcement came over the TV about a 7 year old girl missing in my home town, the Holy Spirit came up me to pray for this little girls safety, which I promply did.

I then went to the answered prayer forum and started to read some of the entries. Less then 10 minutes after I prayed for the little girl an announcement came over the TV that she had been found.  OUR GOD IS SO AWESOME!!!!
2  Prayer / Prayer Requests / Re: Mystery illnesses and depression. on: August 17, 2006, 06:38:20 PM
Hi Islandgirl,

This may be alittle lengthy but please read through it.

I'm currently reading "The Blood and The Glory" by Billye Brim  This is an excerpt from her book which is an excerpt from Mrs.C. Nuzum's teaching entitled "Resisting The devil".

Faith in the Blood of Jesus, and what God has said in his Word when exercised in testimony against the devil, will always cause him to flee. First Peter 5:9 says, we are to be steadfast in resisting the devil. We are never once to think he can remain or keep evil upon us, because God has said that if we resist him he will flee, and God's Word cannot fail. So there is only one thing to see to, and that is to resist the devil until he goes, be the time long or short...
Your own mouth can hasten the victory greatly. God says in Mark 11:23, you shall have what you say if you do not doubt, Say, "I refuse to have this sickness", no matter how much Satan tries to make you feel or see it...

The Word tells us that the Blood overcomes Satan and that he does flee. Plant your feet upon these truths, use the remedy and never relax until victory comes. It must come because God has said it will...
I arose one morning and found that I could not stand, I reeled like a drunkard. I said, "This is of you Satan; I hold the Blood against you, and declare on God's Word that it now does over come you, and that you do now flee." The enemy was stubborn, but I continued to believe and repeat what I said until every trace of the trouble was gone. I then did a full day's hard work, and have had no return of the evil...

I found that as I continually meet Satan with the blood, and never release until he flees, the Blood works quickly and more powerfully.I am sure it will do the same for you dear reader, if you will set to your seal that God is true, that the Blood is infallible, and his promises sure.
Galatians 6:9 says, "Be not weary... for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." God's time is now, and, if you are right, you should have immediate victory; but you must begin with a fixed purpose never to stop until you have full victory. Jesus won it for you on the cross, and all you have to do is to hold fast without a doubt, or waver, or weakening until it is felt and seen. God the Almighty One says you shall reap if you do not faint--which means ceasing to believe and to resist, or becoming less earnest and persistent. The more stubborn Satan is, the more earnest and persistent you must be.

Again the above is an excerpt from Mrs. C. Nuzum's book "Resisting the Devil".

This is an excerpt from Billye Brim's book "The Blood and The Glory".

PSALM 107:2
2  Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.

Pleading the Blood with our mouths lines up with Scripture. The Bible instructs us to say that we are redeemed. If the enemy tries to put the curse on you, say that you are redeemed from the curse of the law.

Say, for example: "I am redeemed from the curse of the law. You can't put that (name it) on me. According to Deuteronomy 28:61 all sickness is the curse of the law. But according to Galatians 3:13 I am redeemed from the curse of the law and I say so. I am redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. I overcome you Satan, By the Blood of the Lamb and by the power of my testimony."

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so! That is pleading the Blood!

Islandgirl, I faithfully believe that if you plead the Blood of the Lamb you will be set free of this attack on you. Believe, say it morning and night and don't give in until you are free. Remember Satan will be stubborn.

After all that, also play your favorite Christian radio station all night while you sleep. I do this and often wake up singing some of my favorite songs. I fall asleep instantly after the song and Wake up in the morning refreshed.

I will also be pleading the Blood of the Lamb for you.

Your Brother in Christ,
Rob
3  Prayer / General Discussion / Re: Water Baptism? on: August 16, 2006, 09:59:18 PM
Hi I'm new to this forum and may be posting to this kind of late. But here are my thoughts on this.

Satan loves to take whatever doubts we have with our personal relationship with God and try to create conflict within ourselves and between other believers.   My solution would be to fast and go through a full submersion baptism. In fact if you can think of someone else that has not been baptised yet discuss the meaning and blessing of being baptised with them, and do it togeather.
4  Welcome / About You! / Hi everyone on: August 16, 2006, 09:31:22 PM
Hi, my name is Rob. I'm currently living in Faribault, MN. I was directed to this site while doing some research on Smith Wigglesworth, and decided to check out this forum. I look forward to discussing the Book of Revelation and prophecy relating to these "later Days".
