1  Theology / Debate / Re: WHAT ABOUT PASTORS WHO LET THIER CHILDREN... on: March 21, 2006, 02:21:03 AM
excellent point pastor roger.

when your right you are right! those last words were spoken from a standpoint of relationship with god, one that goes past religion!
2  Theology / Debate / Re: TONGUES - A SIGN on: March 21, 2006, 02:00:51 AM
PR,

why are the few things you'd like to add always in a direction that leans against the holy spirit by way of the tongues?

once again real quickly, god is still god rather we believe him or not, and his gifts still exsist, even if they do not exsist for you. don't be so quick to convince people against the spirit of god (it is the spirit that makes intercession)...if you don't know god on this level, maybe this is an area you should not speak on. for those of us blessed enough to know him on this level, it is an offense to have you speak against that fire that moves down on the inside...so don't do it!

i know some will be mad about this post, and they will find ways to rebuke me by twisting my words, or twisting the words in the bible, but those people should know, i am not moved by how much scripture a man can quote...walk it out...get the revelation of his word...get the understanding of the word and do not manipulate the word to prove false points...i know some of these points are false, because i have spoke and do speak in a real tongue, that is between me and god. the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are none of his. not saying that those who do not believe that the spirit make s intercession is none of his (even though the bible makes it clear in romans Cool, but what i am saying is do not post on something you don't know about, and certainly do not post against it.

p.s. some of us seem a little double minded. one minute it absolutely does not exsist, the next moment it does exsist but is not a requirement, or it exsist in secret. once again, if you do not know him in the power of his might, just say nothing!

i know i'm going to be in the cu principles office, but i'm going to post this anyway!
3  Theology / Debate / Re: I NEED ANSWERS ASAP! on: March 18, 2006, 01:09:11 AM
thank you for your feedback, all points are well taken. i am going to decline the card playing game...

but still, just for the sake of arguement (you know me Grin), what about the movies, bowling, etc?

how about board games?

4  Theology / Debate / I NEED ANSWERS ASAP! on: March 17, 2006, 11:25:35 PM
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT CHRISTIANS PLAYING CARDS? IF THEY ARE NOT PLAYING FOR MONEY, OR IF THEY ARE ONLY PLAYING FOR CHRISTIAN RECREATION, IS IT OK? IS IT BETTER TO GO TO THE MOVIES? BOWLING? POOL HALL? IF IT IS BETTER, THAN WHY? PLEASE TELL ME WHY YES, OR WHY NO!

ALSO IF EVERYONE PLAYING IS A TRUE CHRISTIAN (LIVING A SOLD OUT LIFE FROM GOD IS THAT ALRIGHT?

SOME OF THE CHRISTIANS AT A MINISTRY ARE ASKING CAN WE PLAY CARDS. I REALLY CAN'Y FIND ANY SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS NO.

I KNOW MANY CHURCHES FROWN ON THIS ACTIVITY, BUT I GUESS MY QUESTION IS, IS THAT JUST FOR TRADITIONAL/RELIGIOUS REASONS, OR DOES THE LORD TRUELY FROWN ON IT?

I NEED ANSWERS QUICK, AND PLEASE INCLUDE REASONS THAT WILL VALIDATED YOUR ANSWERS.
5  Theology / Debate / Re: JEHOVAH WITNESSES on: March 10, 2006, 05:08:56 AM
i did not say prayer is work...i said work is prayer. Big difference. I am not jw I am catholic. piusx as in pope pius x.
we really need to make him a saint...don't you think?

i think we should let the lord jesus make the saints...don't you?
6  Theology / Debate / Re: abortion and homoperversion on: March 10, 2006, 04:58:44 AM
homosexuality is a sin just like any other. so if your a fornicator, you will be judged just like the homosexual.

don't fool yourself into thinking your sin is better than someone elses'!

those who abort their child can be forgiven like the homosexual, or the fornicator (the liar, the curser, the smoker, etc.) so let it not be us who pick the penalties. and if we do, pick based on your sins!

i imagine the penalty will be greatly reduced, when you pick it based on the punishment you believe you are worthy of  (or capable of handling).

p.s. i do believe it should be addressed, and dealt with. we should talk about it, but we should talk about the misuse of the pulpit as well. and the misuse of gods finances, and certainly all of the crooked politicians... they've gotten so crooked that we just expect it and accept it. Wink
7  Theology / Debate / Re: abortion and homoperversion on: March 09, 2006, 06:55:33 AM
howdy folks
new here.

now that we have a supreme court that we want...it is only a matter of time before abortion and homoperversion will be made illegal. My question is what penalties should we attach to these crimes. I advocate death. I was wondering what you folks think. thanks for sharing Smiley
I think its wonderful that they would make these sins illegal by law, but let me ask you, what do you think should be the penalty for your sins Huh
8  Theology / Debate / Re: TITHE AND OFFERING??? on: March 03, 2006, 01:35:41 AM
Just give a heads up, this tuesdays rap session, it was standing room only! praise the lord, i still have not asked for a tithe  or a offering, yet the increase has been coming.
9  Theology / Debate / Re: TITHE AND OFFERING??? on: February 23, 2006, 11:12:31 PM
Thank you dreamweaver,

your prayers are greatly appreciated...i have been moving forward in ministry, and i have started a rap session out of My home. its every Tuesday at 7pm. so far we have had three consecutive sessions. the first was about 4 people, the second, more than doubled, and the third, i had to look for extra seating.

many are saying that they have never been blessed to this level even after spending a great deal of time in the church building, all of which i give god all the glory...i praise him for what hes doing, even if he does it through a filthy dirty rag like me. god gets the glory, all of the fruit of my lips and heart...jesus, i love him... jesus, i love you! thanks be to god for the things he has done.

I'm saying that to say this, I will not cheat the people out of the truth. on whatever level, be it about the tithe, or about sin, or about salvation, i will tell the truth...so please dream weaver, continue to pray for me.
10  Theology / Debate / Re: TITHE AND OFFERING??? on: February 23, 2006, 12:57:25 AM
There is no new testament tithe that i can find (by way of order to Christians to give to church). so the requirement is not the ten percent we are taught!

now here the kicker, we were commanded to give according to the needs of the people and from the heart...that sometimes meant that we sell all of our possesions to do so.

the church needs to have rent paid, electricity (the bills), the pastor needs to eat, etc.
but if i am faithful in my giving (tithe, offering, talents, time), and i fall on hard times, should the money go to the new building or to my need? i am not talking about me just not being able to handle money, I'm talking about if i lost my job, or something that i have no control over takes place, or I'm about to be homeless, should my pastor be driving around in a fancy car, out having diner and wonderful trips, new suits, etc?

i am really praying about how I'm  going to handle my tithe, because i give everything i have for the use of the lord. i have been blessed because of it, but i wonder if its because i tithe faithfully or is it because of what i do outside of church which is where i give the most.

we really need to stop manipulating gods business, and get clear answers.

what pastor out there is going to tell their member the truth about this subject? our faith is so low that we don't really believe if we told the truth we'd still be taken care of...o ye of little faith. we trust the tithe system more than we trust the Lord Jesus. how weak of us.....

i really am trying to decide how i am going to deal with this.
11  Theology / Debate / Re: Benny Hinn or Ben Hinnom? on: February 08, 2006, 07:53:57 PM
Hey folks! May i suggest we walk in the love of God instead of just firing darts at our brother in Christ Jesus. I HAVE
heard Benny Hinn preach the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, so I know at the very least he is born again because one cannot speak so except by the Spirit of God (1 Cor. 12:3).

And how do you know Benny didn't give up all that he had to follow the Lord? Plus, where does it say in the Bible to give up your house and your ass to be born again?

As for the house and the cars, I DO know the house in California? is not his. It belongs to the ministry. I know, I know, semantics.

Anyways, the point I want to make is why are we ripping at him in a public foum? Are we not children of God too? Did you know that with what measure you judge, you shall be judged also?

No, if you see your brother or sister in need of the revelation of God's word, why not pray for him/her?

I challenge you folks to pray Ephesians 1:16-23 over Benny Hinn, changing the pronouns to address him personally. Do that every day so that you will know that God will reveal truth to him Do you really want to go through another Swaggart/Baker type of scenario, and the serious damage done to the church during that time?? No, let's allow God to handle Benny Hinn, and let's hold him up to God.

As for Jesus, and the reality of whether he could have sinned or not:

Heb 4:15  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

amen, and amen!

when i read these post i thought the very same thing, i just decided it would do me no good to answer it.

benny hinns ministry aznd his walk is between him and the lord jesus...and no matter how we feel about it, we still can not but him in heaven or hell.

13  Theology / Debate / Re: WHAT ABOUT PASTORS WHO LET THIER CHILDREN... on: February 04, 2006, 06:08:21 AM
The first thing you should do is pray about. Ask God for guidance...  If you read the Bible, what you do here is be bold... Tell what is wrong because as i see it people in your Church have been blinded.  Confront if you need to; but, if you do you have to have a fellow Christian who stand in the thruth.

I forgot the exact verse where Paul confront the church where there is an adultery going on.  If your church will not face the problem it has; the punishment of God may be felt by all.
AMEN blad. this is quite a journey i am on, very lonley, and very strange to me. i can't get much advice because i am traveling the road less traveled...but please saints of god, pray for me...i really want to be in the will of the lord jesus!
14  Theology / Debate / Re: NBC's Book of Daniel on: February 03, 2006, 06:51:10 AM
Hey Brother.

Don't be offended, calm down, some, maybe make your sentences a little more in detail. And about Sexual PURITY, maybe you should ask your Pastor to preach on it. It's a big issue, I for one know. I played in bands, and took everything that went with it, while backsliding.
Some churches are afraid to touch these issues, which is another story in its self. You missed the whole point of my reply. Praying is the only source I have for ministries I see on TV, say Hinn, that have some concerns. For what TV does in general, is all based on the way the world is, and be not of this world, I don't watch, much of it at all. because I now guard the gatekeeper, my mind of the things my eyes let in.
On the trinity, I believe in the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost, they are one in my book. There is only ONE GOD! ONE HOLY SPIRIT,  ONE SON who is Jesus the lamb of God.

WOULD GO INTO THIS SCRIPTURELY, BUT most of us only receive the pieces of scripture the validates their point and for humans, that makes sense. but to be perfectly honest with you, you do not have to know rocket science to know when someone is not living a sold out life for Christ... THATS NUMBER ONE!

BUT NUMBER TWO...how is it gossip when these wounded young women and men call YOU for prayer or advice after they have been scared? qoute GKB

The how I obtained that information, was kind of missing,  I never said you were gossiping, brother, my point was about alertness! Use a little discernment and not look at it like I'm targeting you for anything. Make your sentences more complete with the facts you express. Then them concerns caused because of incompleteness will not pop up the "help this brother get back on track here alert." I cannot read a mans mind,  and on here only what he writes.

Don't read like you want to fight brother, that's the Lord's, read my reply again, humbly.
Now about judging the people on the stations, I judge not. I see the fruits as like you which is not Rocket science, correct, and praying was what my reply was all about brother!
And I'm totally submitted to Jesus, He is my Lord, my total being, I hear His voice, and I follow His will for me. I'm I perfect,,,, no way, the Holy Spirit will prompt me when I miss the mark and I repent of it, receive the grace and learn from it and press on!

I too, believe in the gifts of the Spirit, use them, in love and pray them out.
Peace brother, I have read lots of your post and you leave stuff out, then here comes a reply, then you can read the offended - ness as you reply back and it would stop alot of confussion, if you put a little more of the story in it. Press on bro, God is for ya, as am I. But if your Pastor is not seeing these issues, tell em. They are his sheep to feed. And accountability is big for a lot of reasons in purity issues. I keep accountable to two brothers, its everyman's battle. Which is a good series of books,  Everyman's Battle, and EveryWoman's Battle.

May the Lord, bless thee and keep thee
Only always for Jesus
in the love of a brother
ggamble

Please forgive me if it appears that i am angry, i am not!

i will make an extra effort to fill in the blanks that may cross a readers mind when i post.

i recieve you advice in love, and i can feel the spirit that you posted this with. so i humbly receive it and i will certainly consider your request in clarifiying some sentences.

THANK YOU FOR CARING ENOUGH TO POST WITH THE SPIRIT of love! thank you brother, that is a love that will always get results, a true spirit of love....wonderful, i applaude you...and  it doesn't matter what your views are.....thanks again.
15  Fellowship / You name it!! / Re: DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT OR HAVE SCRIPTURE ON.... on: February 02, 2006, 10:41:13 PM
I am not talking about the time opposite of the time jesus died on the cross. i'm asking about late night hours where people would normally make calls to the night, or more commonly known as booty calls. during those times is it a good idea to call old flings and "minister" too them?

i'm not talking about if it is an emergency, or a need. i'm talking about in the name of ministry being on late night calls with women, or old attractions, even young ladies that we used to have sex with prior to being born again. should we still be keeping the same hours/habits with them?
