1  Entertainment / Television / Re:FAMILY GUY THUMBS UP OR DOWN on: May 03, 2005, 03:14:41 AM
I missed the new episode but it sounds like I didn't miss much. Although some is a little offensive I can't help watching because it totally cracks me up Grin. I was a Simpsons fan for a long time but their low key Christian bashing got on my nerves. I hope this doesn't happen to Family Guy because I can always count on a good laugh whenever I watch it. It's freakin' sweet.

3  Theology / Debate / Re:churches in shopping malls on: May 01, 2005, 04:02:41 AM
Churches in strip malls, what a great idea! Now I can have a donut from Krispy Kreme, get some Starbuck's coffee,go to church, rent a movie from Blockbuster, pick up my dry cleaning, get my haircut at Supercuts, buy a sandwich from Subway and get a Slushee from 7-11 without ever leaving the parking lot! Looks like I'll be home by 10:30 am on Sundays from now on! I can't wait. Grin Grin
4  Entertainment / Sports / Re:Baseball or take me out to the ball game.... on: May 01, 2005, 01:09:49 AM
Sorry Yankee fans but the "curse of the bambino" has been replaced by the "curse of the A-Rod"! Its your turn to suffer for 80 years. Has anyone else noticed that the "best" player in baseball has never won a championship? Think about it.
5  Theology / General Theology / Re:how do we know that the Bible is true on: April 30, 2005, 07:24:49 PM
Hi everybody! I'm new to this sight but I can feel your love for God already. My answer for the topic is this:  for those who don't want to believe there will never be enough evidence to prove that it is true and those who want to believe that the Bible is true will believe without any proof. Yes, nearly all of the events and individuals that are written about in the Bible can be proved either through archeology or by other historical writings but the most important facts written about in the Holy Bible - God loves you,God was here on earth in the form of His son Jesus, Jesus died for our sins,Jesus was raised on the third day,if we believe in Jesus we have eternal life- these facts must be accepted through faith. Like I said, I'm new to this so if anyone feels like I need to be taught -I'm eager to listen.  Grin
