My friend, and brother in Christ in your first sentence you missed a big point and everybody in these forums are missing that point... i have tried to mention it a thousand times but people are ignoring it like I never ever wrote anything.  You are assuming Mass Morality comes before individual piety, your first 3 sentences are enough to give that conclusion (and i did read your whole article)... if need be i will disect it for you... I suggest you read Joel 2 before you go to that Chronicles passage.  Everybody likes to run to that... when in fact God wants us first to weep and moan for those that are lost...

2) by all what you say above, you are also negating God's soverignity.. . and that will also be easy for me to point it out to you... i am not here to do that though... i have one question for you...

Joel 2 discusses the wrath of the Lord  the method of revival for the Jewish people.  Certainly America is in need of revival also.  I do not know how to start that revival, but I do know how to vote.

I know God is sovereign, but God gave Christians America and the right to vote, so that we may testify to the world by the way we vote.  I do not think God will be pleased if America becomes a pagan nation.  The reason I quote II Chronicles is that many Christians think that only prayer is required for God to heal the land, but I think God is waiting on Christians to use the tools (vote, freedom of speech, financial resources) that God has provided.

I pray I will never agree with anyone that is unholy.   I do listen to other opinions, and I give other opinions credence if the opinion is backed by the Bible.

The purpose of this topic is to point out to Christians that there many problems facing America.  The democratic party, the news media, the judicial system, and appeasement preachers.  But I also believe that Christians can regain control, if that is God's will for America.  

I consider my involvement in politics as a testimony.

We have a Godless government because we elect Godless politicians, who appointed Godless judges, who make Godless laws.   The Godless liberal news media provides propaganda for the Godless government.  Godless colleges and universities provide indoctrination into Godless liberalism.  Funding for the Godless politicians is provided by hollywood, lawyers, homosexuals, environmentalists, unions and minorities.  The Godless government subsidizes Godless people through grants, studies, welfare and special privileges, to get votes that will insure the Godless left wing conspiracy is continued.  The Godless government has become the god of the atheist, where social, economic and health issues are more important than moral issues.

This Godless process can be ended in the voting booth by those who trust God.  The first test of any candidate and their political party should be Biblical principals, then what they intend to do about worldly issues.  If the candidate does not pass the Biblical principals test, then there is no basis to believe the promises (or lies) about worldly issues.  No Christian should vote for a person in the democratic party because of the support of abortion and homosexuality.

The most important thing that needs to be done is the formation and support of a Christian based news media which will expose the democratic party and other ungodly organizations.  The liberal news media greatly influences both domestic and foreign policy by constantly reporting only bad news about Christians, conservatives and Republicans and only good news about atheists, liberals and democrats. There is no way to change these people, but the whole truth can be told instead of the half truths that benefit the ungodly.  Every Christian should financially support Christian based news media.

The judicial system of America must be changed.  Too few unelected people are in control of too much.  The legislative aspect of legal decisions must have checks and balances.  Constitutional interpretation must be eliminated from the judicial system and made a voter issue.  The present judicial system represents, "legislation without representation".  Christians should actively oppose the ACLU and not support any lawyer who contributes to or is a part of the ACLU.

The attempt by the judicial system to eliminate America's Christian Heritage is intolerable.  America was founded as a Christian nation that tolerated the practice of all religions.  The laws of America and the Constitution are based on the Christian Religion.  Every Christian should support a Constitutional amendment that establishes the religious heritage of the United States of America has been and is the Christian Religion as described in the King James version of the Bible.

The next most important thing is for Christians to boycott Godless activities and funding sources.  Many activities should be avoided because of the sin factor, but other organizations should be boycotted because they provide funding and support to the Godless.  An example is General Electric which owns NBC news and Disney which owns ABC news.  No Christian should contribute to PBS.  CBS (Viacom) and CNN (AOL Time Warner) make their money from pornography thus they should already be boycotted.

A major revenue source for the liberals is pornography.  Since the judicial system cannot define pornography the American people must regain control.  Local community standards are constantly violated.  Instead of people having to protect their children, the pornographers should be held to proving their pornography does not reach children.  Christians should support giving the FCC control of all communication modes which include television, cable, satellite, Internet and movies.

Last, but not least, preachers need to preach against sin and sinners.  Too much preaching is done for perfecting the saints instead of warning and preparing the saints for the war with Satan that exists every day we are on this earth.  A key item to this is the passage of the "Houses of Worship Free Speech Restoration Act" (H.R. 235).

II Chronicles 7:14 states, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

I believe the statements above are consistent with II Chronicles 7:14.
