If you fall on your face,

      The Tiniest Little Shimmer

If only the tiniest, little shimmer of God's love,
is reflected through me to you, I'll be satisfied.
For God's love is perfect!
If only the tiniest, little shimmer of the joy the Lord gives
is given through me to you, I'll be satisfied.
For all joy comes from Him!
If only the tiniest, little shimmer of God's peace
is felt by you when you're in my arms, I'll be satisfied.
For there is no peace like His!
If only the tiniest, little shimmer of the comfort God brings
is brought to you by me, I'll be satisfied.
For there is no comfort without Him!
If only the tiniest, little shimmer of the love I feel for you
is felt by the Father too, I'll be satisfied.
For there is no greater love, no greater joy, no greater peace,
 and no greater comfort,
than knowing that He gave you to me!

If a mommy's kind of love is supposed to be
A reflection of the love God has for you and me,
I'll pray, then, every day for Him to help me be
That loving kind of mommy that I know you need.
I'll get down on my knees and ask Him every night
For wisdom and for strength to help me know what's right.
I'll also ask for patience, because that's important too.
I don't want to lose my temper and take it out on you.
And understanding is not always a gift that I posses.
But I promise you, right now, that I'll try to do my best.
And I'll wake up every morning and praise Him just because
He's given you to me to have, to hold and love!
