2296  Theology / General Theology / Re:What do you think of President Bush? on: July 23, 2003, 05:48:43 PM
Do you think he is King Bush or something? He can’t just snap his fingers and make it happen. It has to go thru the house, and the Senate, and there are a lot of people who believe it is a violation of “separation of Church and State”  who are trying to stop him. It takes time to get things passed. He has been pushing, see here:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,90845,00.html

And that was less then a month ago! Check you facts. The man is kind of busy dealing with people blindly hating him, and causing others to lose there support for him, and Muslims attacking American’s lately, but he is still pushing this issue of School Vouchers

Anythign else that he does that is unchristian? What are this things you "heard" about him?
2297  Entertainment / Movies / Re:Mel Gibson: "The Passion" on: July 23, 2003, 01:24:44 PM
Did it say why Jews wouldn't like it? Or Catholics? What makes it different from other Jesus Movies that would get people upset, that has never upset them before with Jesus movies?

Yes. But I beleive they could argue that Paganism is more a collection of Supersitions then a true Religon. The Right winger that run the Army would support them, I think. I'm not surprised about the (ch)Air force haven't a chaplin. I have a friend in there, the they are mostly Hippies and Nerds from what he says. He recalls he's Friday night games of M:TG with the Chaplins in the Church. lol
2300  Welcome / About You! / Re:New Here on: July 22, 2003, 11:19:49 PM
That is bad :-( Man. And the Chaplins still arn't putting up a fight about it? Still letting it go on?  Angry What a shame.

On a lighter note, what do you do in the army? What corp are you with? My Father was a CRNA, and he spent 9 years in the Navy, 12 in the Army, with 3 years in JSOC while in the Army.
2301  Welcome / About You! / Re:New Here on: July 22, 2003, 09:42:04 PM
What branch of the military are the with? Just a few years ago, they where raising cane in Ft. Hood because the Chaplin’s where letting the Wiccan’s start there section of the Chaplin’s Corp. Has the movement within the Army gotten any stronger?

Yeah. There is another meet in January, I just got the info in it today. So I’m thinking about, if I need more time to focus on College, and/or we need more training, we can go to that meet. I'm so happy. My parent where kind of upset that I was going to a meet in the first Semester in College. I'm glad I found a meet only 2 months away from the first one. When God closes one door, he opens another, right?

This is the meet info for October (like anyone cares):

The found weapon in his armors that he should not have had. Maybe they didn’t find the Anthrax tips Super Atomic Warhead, but we did find clear evidence that they had a program for manufacturing weapons banned by the UN.

What else does he do that isn't very christian? Why don't you think he acts very Christian?
2307  Theology / General Theology / Re:Buddhism on: July 22, 2003, 08:58:32 PM
Playing the Devil’s Advocate for a moment, the Darma, the Text followed by the Buddhists, says nothing about Gods of any kind…
