i agree, it is such an honor to be in connection with real saints of the most high god, i began to believe that you all were extinct. very true about the tithe and the new testiment....so why do you think so many churches preach tithe... even that you can not be blessed unless you tithe?

mills, please do not be affended, its just that we "church people" have corrupted gods buisness so much that its hard to see whats what. i do believe there are poor conditions and for that reason i understand what you are doing. as long as it funds gods buisness and not mans, the tithe is fine for it. how do you collect monies if the maxium wage is 20 dollars a month? could the same faith that you do that with be used to supply every need?

i agree to the extent of one god, three manisfestations. i guess my issue is the term trinity...now you do your research, does it secretly attempt to dilute the name of jesus?

sabrina, i used to head up the drama ministry, and you are right, it should always be thought of as a tool for evangelism. if you do it in that spirit, it will bless new comers and everyone else... so i pray that the lord will bless you in the ministry thats been assigned to you.

cris, you really just hit my spirit, because i wonder about that, but i am being very careful to not move out of the will of god. but i certainly receive this....not because it sounds good, but because its true....i already have been opening my door to the people of god....people are beginning to give their life to christ right in my livingroom....amazing huh?  god bless you cris, because you really did bless me.... i have soooo far to go.

well said chris. either a job, or move in faith (not judging, just suggesting), let faith carry us to every blessing that we need. i do understand that the church is poor, and that does make a difference, and the pastor may need to be available to full time ministry....but i just believe that god will take care of his own and provide seed for the sower.

hi servant, i said the exact same thing about ice, water, and steam. i do like the idea of the electricity example. so i agree. but i'm only asking, can we make up terminologies, adopt, them and call them holy? god ment what he said when he said it. if he wanted it to say trinity, do you think that hes sure enough to say trinity? once again i believe there are three manisfestations of one, thats not just a good idea, thats the truth.

mills, why are all tithes given to the pastor? i understand that the pastor has to live, but should the tithe be given to the pastor as a rule? should the tithe be limited to pastor?

thank you for theses wonderful responses marmor636, and to the missionary who is doing such a wonderful work! i did leave this church, and i am certainly on a faith walk. i live in baltimore, md...any suggestions on a good ministry? i know all places will proberly have their issues, but i just believe there is somewhere i need to be to aquire my next level of teaching.

i understand matt 28, but have you read the instruction given after jesus was crucified? try acts 2:38-than peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the holy ghost. you can also look at acts 8:12, acts 8:16, acts 19:4-5, and romans 6:3. these were the instruction given after jesus had gave up the ghost. it is because of the power in the name of jesus christ. the great commission was given while jesus was still here in the flesh, the new commission is given after he was rasied to glory. so pastors, and teachers, and reachers, how do you baptize?

the devils plan is to dilute the name of JESUS, I'm just afraid that many times we assist in that without knowing. i know that all three manisfestations are equally important, however, i just try do do all things in the name of JESUS. when you take the name JESUS, you automatically take the father and the holy spirit, and the son....which are titles. you'd agree if its one thing we do not need anymore worshiping of, its titles.

actually i believe the correct way to say it is JESUS! THE TERM TRINITY SHOULD NOT BE A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE NAME OF JESUS. THE LONG AND THE SHORT WAY TO SAY GOD, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT IS JESUS!
