HELLO!!

GOOD MORNING!!

GOOD AFTERNOON!!

GOODAY MATE!!

GREETINGS!!

I'm here. Are you here??

OK, who's watching football?

I'm getting a cup of coffee.

If you are here, say hello?

If you would like to, feel free to report those who are not here. You are also welcome to suggest what punishment they should get for not being here. I might suggest one of the following:

Everyone throws a pie at them at the same time.

Temporary suspension from the Christians Unite Choir.

Maybe we need to re-open the CU Jail.
  Cheesy

What do you think?

I'm reporting Allinall and 2nd Timothy for watching football. I suggest that they clean the stalls of the CU Barns for a week.  Cheesy

Hi Brother. I'm here.

What is football anyway?

I think we can excuse Sister Maria this one time. She said she would be going to see her new grandson.

I like the pie throwing idea.  I'll be ready for that when the time comes.

I agree with that!

HELLO!

I am here with my coffee.

it had a dull, disconsolate look, as if it found itself of no use, and regretted having come...Oops, now it is just me...the coffee is gone.  Undecided

HELLO  HELLO   HELLO

Is this microphone working?

UM?? Someone drank all of my coffee too, and I wouldn't have a clue about who. My cup was directly in front of me, and I didn't see anyone sneak up on it.  UM?? - Gremlins??  I got another cup of coffee from the kitchen, and I'm not taking my eyes off this cup of coffee.

TESTING  TESTING  1, 2, 3       1, 2, 3
Can anyone copy?
Break 19 for a smoky report.

UM?  This is a CB radio, isn't it? Or, does anyone remember what a CB radio is?  Cheesy

I wished that I knew about Symphony. The last I heard, there was a lot of community work being planned, mainly focused on public information about alternative lifestyles from a Biblical perspective. I remember that it was a tremendous amount of work being considered. I do wish that Symphony would drop by at least give us a progress report and say hello.

Who knows, maybe Symphony is lurking and reading this as I type. If so:  Symphony - Quit Lurking and let us know how you are.

You mean these?

QRM man made noise, adjacent channel interference

QRN static noise

QRO increase power

QRP reduce power

QRT shut down, clear

QSL confirmation, often refers to confirmation cards exchanged by hams

QSO conversation

QSX standing by on the side

QSY move to another frequency

QTH address, location

QRL Busy, Stand By

QRM Man Made Interference

QRT Stop Transmit or Shutting Down (same as 10-7 on AM)

QRX Stop Transmit or Standing By

QRZ Who is Calling?

QS Receiving Well

QSB Receiving Poorly

QSK I have something to Say or Station breaking QSM Repeat Message

QSO Radio Contact

QSP Relay Message

QSX Standing By (same as 10-10 on AM)

QSY Changing Frequency

QTH My Location is... or What's your location? QTR Correct Time

Okay, I have to admit, I had to look all of these up. Grin

Those are the common ones and are known by most Ham Radio operators. The really fun ones were those that we used in the Navy that were in addition to those. There was a group of us Navy communicators that had CB's when I was in the Seattle area. We used those all time. It created a lot of commotion among the CB'ers.
