"Jesus wept."

Two words. So simple. When I was young, I used to choose that verse to memorize. As I (hopefully) matured, it began to mean so much more.  Smiley

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Matthew 7:3

This one has stuck with me for years.

                  PSALM 20:5,6

5.  We will rejoice in they salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners:  the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.

6.  Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed:  he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

I have so many that I love, that I cannot put them all here...

I really Like;

They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as Eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

And the Best one I Really Love is, do I hear a drum roll...  Grin

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will He keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.For as the Heaven is high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear Him. For He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. The LORD hath prepared his throne in the Heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all. Bless the LORD, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His Word. Bless ye the LORD, all ye His hosts; ye ministers of His, that do His pleasure. Bless the LORD, all His works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul. Psalms 103 Holy Bible -- King James Version

Psalm 119 :: The Message

69 The godless spread lies about me,
but I focus my attention on what you are saying;

71 My troubles turned out all for the best--
they forced me to learn from your textbook.

75 I can see now, GOD, that your decisions are right;
your testing has taught me what's true and right.

Psa 46:10  Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

I think we get so caught up in trying to survive in todays world. We forget to just rest and know that God is in control.

Hows about this one...

Psa 91:1  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Really like the sound of that one.

Grace and Peace!

Philippians 4:

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Eph 5:15-17 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Jer 9:23-24 Thus says the LORD, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the LORD.

Matt 24:37-39 "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. "For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.

This sounds like our world right now.

Gen 6:11-13 Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth. Then God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

Deut 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
