376  Welcome / Questions, help, suggestions, and bug reports / Re:A Car Forum? on: June 18, 2004, 07:10:05 PM
We had a little Mazda hatchback for awhile. That was quite a car. One day it just decided to not work anymore, and that was it. Sort of like a one-time disposable car. We gave it to the local high school, and I think they eventually got it running, although I wouldn't be surprised if they had to install a go-kart engine.

Currently we have a Ford '90 Ford Econoline van, a 198- Ford Crown Victoria Station Wagon, a '94 Ford Explorer, AND the most pathetic example of the automobile industry, a 199- Dodge Caravan. We call it our ghetto mobile. It was originally dark purple but now it ranges from dark to light purple in sort of a wave pattern. We had a new engine installed and the thing is quite a beast now . . . at least it sounds like it. It has quite a muscle-car roar. It's sort of a soccer mom car turned bad.  Tongue

Umm...guys, the question originally asked was if we could have a car forum. Could somebody (preferrably with some say-so) answer the question?

My fish beg for food and then everyone thinks that I don't feed them and then they do and it makes me have to clean their tank faster.

How do fish beg for food?

According to my dog(who is 4 times the size of my kittens) kats are evil....

Can we have a forum solely for discussing cars and the automobile industry?
384  Theology / Debate / Re:HOT DOGS on: June 13, 2004, 08:22:39 PM
It actually all sort of depends on my mood, but overall I like them.

I used to hate them but one day I had one and I was like "Man, this is actually good!"

Don't worry, Yoyostick. You're not missing anything at all.

Nope, I guess not. And always having to ask people what they're saying is a great way to get a lot of posts!
387  Welcome / Questions, help, suggestions, and bug reports / Re:Let's make this a forum solely for christians! on: June 13, 2004, 07:28:26 PM
Well, we could have a few Christian only forums, but as a whole, we need to have a ministry among the lost.

Quote
Yoystick
God doesn't want us to isolate ourselves
Where do you get this from?
Certainly not from the Bible:

2Co 6:14 Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?
2Co 6:15 What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?
2Co 6:16 What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
2Co 6:17 Therefore, "'Come out from among them, And be separate,' says the Lord, 'Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you.

Have you all forgetten about this?
The same Lord you says this tells us to go out and mission. But there lies the difference: Christians are supposed to have fellowship among themselves uninterrupted and GO OUT INTO THE WORLD to bring the gospel to them.

First of all, the verse about being unequally yoked is referring to marriage, and all the other verses are referring to not becoming like the world. They're not referring to interacting with the world in the hope that you can change something.

And yes, I do get what I said from the Bible. Jesus did not isolate himself. Remember all the trouble he caused when he went to Nicodeamus' (spelling, please) house? He was surrounded by what where considered some of the most sinful people in the world. Clearly he didn't want to be isolated.
389  Entertainment / Sports / Re:Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball on: June 12, 2004, 09:03:03 PM
Would anybody like to join a custom league (that I would make) on Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball? They are currently doing their midseason registration. I have not created a league yet, but if I get enough people who want to do it, I will.

I would prefer either an Autopick or Offline draft since I wouldn't have time for an Online draft. If you're planning on playing I would like your input on what you prefer.
if your into foot ball come this fall maybe we can get a united football league going, watch out the im holding last years trophy Grin

I'm not much into football. I don't even know what all the positions do. I'm not even really into baseball. But I follow it enough to do well in fantasy . . . but hockey is still my sport.
