31  Prayer / General Discussion / Re: question about burnt offerings on: May 08, 2006, 03:16:30 PM

The burnt offering was done to make ready for the sin offering.

What do you mean by that?

Thank you Tom, Air and Roger. I fully understand that all these offerings forshawdowed the final, perfect offering. But i was just wondering why God made so many different ones. Ya know?
Thanks for explaining the differrence Roger. So, one could only do the sin offering and hardly ever do burnt and peace offerings?
32  Prayer / General Discussion / question about burnt offerings on: May 08, 2006, 04:24:34 AM
I'm reading Liviticus (sorry sp) and was wondering what is the difference between the burnt offering and the sin offering. They have so many different offerings....peace, burnt, sin, wave, trespass.
Why couldn't one offering suffice for all the sins?

Thanks for the help!
33  Fellowship / For Men Only / Re: Need help on this girl that I like on: May 08, 2006, 04:11:52 AM
sorry to intrude!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Just had to say that nothing is sexier than a man that has a passionate, honest love for God. AND HE DOESN'T HIDE IT!!

The man who ignores me and never glances my way during worship and sermons cause his attention and his heart is on God, is more attractive than a man glanceing at  me, and giving me a smile.

ok, i'll leave. Just my 2 cents. bye.  Tongue
34  Fellowship / For Men Only / Re: Dressing Modestly: A long sleeve V-neck with a tube top as an undershirt on: May 08, 2006, 04:02:16 AM
Wow, i really needed to read this. I though the outfit was pretty and not immodest at all. I think i should learn Gods definiton of modesty.
I think my figure has become a source of pride with myself because i've gotten so many compliments on it from men. Hmmm....perhaps i have insecurity issues. ugh. I'm gonna talk to my pastor about this subject.
Sorry to intrude!!! Thanks for this thread!
35  Entertainment / Animals and Pets / Re: Horse died on: May 08, 2006, 03:42:35 AM

36  Theology / Debate / Re: Exercising your body on: May 08, 2006, 03:39:59 AM
Thank you Maria! You're so sweet. And you made your walks sound so beautiful....i think i might just last a couple blocks on that walk!
37  Theology / Debate / Re: GOD don't want you to have TATTOO on: May 08, 2006, 03:37:22 AM
I have a few tattoos i got before i was saved. Would i get them now, knowing what i know? Nope!

God wants me to treat my body with the upmost respect. However, i have nothing agaisnt Christians with tattoos.
Here's a though---to the secular world, perception is realitly. How does the world precieve people with lots of tattoos. Or even one big one? Christians need to be above reproach.
38  Theology / Debate / Re: Exercising your body on: May 08, 2006, 03:03:12 AM
i pretty much agree with everyone. Although when i first read this, i jumped with joy cause i HATE excersising on purpose.  Sure, i love riding and competing on my horse and hiking with my dog but running just for the sole purpose of running?Huh Or worse.....running on the treadmill going nowhere?? Not for me!!
If not for my deep love for God and my knowledge that i only get one body and He wants me to care for it, i might weigh about 100 more pounds.  Tongue
39  Fellowship / Witnessing / Re: Afraid To Witness on: May 07, 2006, 04:19:04 PM
Thank you Pastor. Your thread brough tears to my eyes.  Cry  You hit the nail on the head when you said if you are not concerned with others, than the love of Christ is not in you. Have a blessed day!
