1  Theology / Debate / Re:WHAT ABOUT PASTORS WHO LET THIER CHILDREN... on: December 11, 2005, 10:58:00 PM
Let's get out there and get them saved before Jesus returns.  We got 21 saved yesterday and ONLY 2 today.   Man, I'll make up for that tomorrow!

Hi talker cat.   I have seen many miracles and healings in my ministry as an Evangelists but I am fed up of people who say"Well Jeff, just believe and you WILL be healed!"    God is not a Credit Card whom you just stick in a  machine and out comes you healing.   There is more to Him than that.   We need to have a close relationship with him 24 hours a day.  With that my pain is less.   Hey, just think!  In heaven we will be perfect"   Blessings to you Cat, from Jeff

Talker Cat praise God that you are happy in the Lord's presence!!!   I have that same happinesss every sigle day despite having 6 operations on my back in the past 20 months.   Jesis is lord of everything, and there is nothing better than sharing Jesus with everyone you come across.  It is really nice erading your letter.

Dear PRAISE1  I hear what you are saying, but you need to scroll up and see that the Lord looks at the heart.  There is NOTHING in the NT that says we should tithe to the church.   As a matter of fact WE are now the Royal Priests and so it is ours!!!   But God sees your heart, and also mine.  I give to the church because I want to give but I am not sinning if I do not.   Give with a merry heart says the Word!  God will bless you

Our church here in Guatemala would normally only fit 60 comfortably - we have over 300 cram in and then begin to dance!   I come out of it completely soaking with sweat!   I am glad we are constructing another church building.  These guys put their rings, necjlaces, watches etc in the collection box.   In Guatemala over 46% of people are Christians!

Hi GKB,   The Kingdom of God IS exciting as is Jesus.  If we are looking for "feeling good" experiences then we will be dissapointed.   Once we grasp Kingdom living there will eb a wonderful joy in our lives 24 hours a day, in and out of a church building.  After all we ARE the church.   One of the greatest problems I see in many churches that i have visited in the world is their is a lack of understanding in Kingdom living - that we can experience it now with all its fruits and gifts.   I wish you a blessed Advent in your search.

No rebuke GKB my friend!   Be blessed this Advent!
9  Prayer / General Discussion / Re:Porn (Adults Only) on: December 08, 2005, 12:06:18 AM
I, as a missionary/Evangelist have precahed in many chuches in Europe and some of the people who come and ask for prayer are ministers who have got into porn.    It is too easy.  My computer is so set that It is impossible for me to view porn even if I wanted to.  I have a programme that I cannot remove without the publishers permission!
10  Theology / Bible Study / Re:Give up accusations towards others! on: December 07, 2005, 11:56:25 PM
Jesus is our example.  He was led like a lamb to the slaughter.  He never uttered nothing, and we should not either.

That the Kingdom of God is preached and Jesus.
12  Theology / Debate / Re:TITHE AND OFFERING??? on: December 07, 2005, 11:49:35 PM
Actually my name is Jeff but don't know how to change it on this programme!    Bad teaching and people  going by experience rather than the Word.   I have seen some rich "TV Christians" about but it is not my job to condemn them - the Lord will do that.  I just pray they will change their ways.  Meanwhile let's just get on with sharing the Gospel and giving funds where they can make a difference.    By the way.  My site is www.finalharvestministries.com
Be blessed and may the Lord open your spiritual eyes to so much more treasure!   Jeff

Hey GKB I am not at all offended and I apologize if it seemed that way.  Yes, God does provide for us as we walk in faith.  We are actually constructing a new building which has taken 2 years so far.  It would normally have been completed in 6 months but the Lord is teaching us faith.    How does the pastor live when the wages are so small?  Faith!  God keeps on providing in miraculous ways, the same as he keeps healing people in this church.  They can't afford doctors!  We just lay hands believe and they walk away healed.    We claim Psalm 23 The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not need.   I do not believe that tithing is new testament teaching by the way, because we ourselves are the Royal Priests!!   But we give generously out of love to the one who feeds the flock.

Well GKB I understand what you are saying but you perhaps need to come here and see the extreme poverty these people live in.   The pastor geta  job?   In this country?   The jobless here are about 80% of the people and the maximum wage is about $20 a month.  Hence, as i said as a misisonary I raise funds for him so that he can give himself full time to pastoring the people here.  Now in the Western World I might agree with you that a pastor should either work half day or have a fixed wage.   Maybe you would like to bring a group out here sometime and see for yourself what these people are up against. Murder, rape, drugs and a corrupt Government who just do not care.     This pastor is certainly worthy of his wages.   We would love to see you come some day, and this offer is open to any group.  Contact me on jeffmills@pobox.com any time.   Many blessings and I love these discussions.

Hello Roger, I have been serving the Lord in Guatemala for the past 12 years where I have planted 2 churches.  Both are now over 300 people in each, but our vision is to win Guatemala for the Lord.  A long way to go but there again our God is big!  But we stay humble.   People can read about us in www.finalharvestministries.com   Blessings Jeff Mills
