y'all remember when a band-aid and a kiss from mama were the cure for everything??? Then it was St Joseph's baby aspirins and after that Ben-gay. And nothing was better than Penicillian one shot and that was that.  |

They still sell it here. How about Orange Ne-Hi and strawberry or grape. Ne-Hi was also the first to make Cream Soda. y'all remember when a band-aid and a kiss from mama were the cure for everything??? Then it was St Joseph's baby aspirins and after that Ben-gay. And nothing was better than Penicillian one shot and that was that. Or carbolic salve. The best all around salve for skin problems such as sores, burns, cuts ...... In a brand new container of it the salve would be a light tan almost an orange in color. Once opened it would start turning dark in color. Eventually it would turn black. The black colored salve was the best and strongest. |

It has been known for relieving athlete's foot, ringworm, toe itch, golf itch and other fungus skin irritations; also aids in removing soft corns and calluses. It was also used as a "drawing salve". If you had a splinter, thorn or piece of glass imbedded in you it would aid in drawing them back out.

That sounds like my old first aid tape, I use to pull out splinters, thorns, or slivers of metal.
