I love you too, Sister Maria.  And if Bill didn't ask questions (why is you mom doing that?  why are you packing?) I wouldn't be in the position to lie to him.  I'm scared of him, or I wouldn't be leaving in the first place.  I know that a lie is a lie is a lie, but I also feel sooooo very defensive!  Murder is murder, too, but what about self-defense?  I do rely on God and have been praying about this for quite some time (as you know).  The Lord has opened paths for me ~ every road block I had is being removed, so I know He's working for me......

I know He doesn't want you to be in danger, and I know you fear for your safety. I am praying for you sister.
If you feel like you are doing wrong by lying to Bill, take it to God. He will lead you and guide you.
