Hello Everyone,

I hope that everyone has started a great week. I'm reading a variety of great Christian materials and enjoying a cup of hot tea. YES - you heard me right - TEA. My allergies are going wild, so I'm trying an old home remedy. Hot tea - lemon - and local honey for the sweetener. I don't know if it works yet or not, but I do know that it tastes good.

YES - Brother Bob - I've also had more than my share of coffee today.   Grin

Yes, I am having a cup of coffee and enjoying a variety of excellent Christian materials. I'd like to share a thought with you, and maybe you will have many more - regarding "Because I'm a Christian" - what? Please feel free to share them, and I'm sure that the list is almost endless.

Because I'm a Christian, I am united to the Lord, one spirit with him:

1 Corinthians 6:17  But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

I hope that everyone has a great weekend!

Love In Christ,
Tom

As I sit here, bruised and battered, drinking a cup of coffee (at 4AM this morning). Sometimes crying out in pain, this last fall has taken on me. It is known that nothing is broken, just battered, and bruised. I know that one day, for all His children there is a better home awaiting. Though we live upon this wicked world................ This isn't our real home!!

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

I hope, and pray that each and everyone of you have a great day, ahead of y'all.

Hello Brother Bob,

I give thanks that nothing is broken from your fall. Take it easy and heal up. Know that you will be in my prayers. YES, we will be leaving these bodies behind one day soon, and today would be just great.

1 Corinthians 15:50-58  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  51  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  54  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  55  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?  56  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  57  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18  13  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  15  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Love In Christ,

I may not be knowledgeable of everything going on in the world but I can tell that things are picking up speed. I really believe that we will be home within the next few years. We may not know exactly when but I do believe we are to know when it is close.

Unbelievers, please accept Jesus before it is too late. JESUS LOVES YOU!

Amen Brother David!

I agree completely and know that what the world needs most is Jesus Christ. In my opinion, the Rapture could be at any time. I believe that the Rapture is before the start of the Tribulation Period, and the signs around the world indicate that the Tribulation Period is drawing near. Watch Israel and what happens there - that will be the key.

Brother Tom, I was sitting here enjoying a cup of coffee and happened to think of something. I know how much you like singing in the shower, as that is the only place your wife will allow you to sing.

Well invented, just for you brother, the shower microphone. I hope you are able to enjoy singing in the shower more brother.

I wouldn't have a clue. I didn't see anything wrong with it unless it was advertising for a real product. I seriously doubt that was a real product. I've had a few of those also - with no clue of what was wrong with them.

what was the picture of?

It was a picture of a guy in the shower (only from the waist up) - singing into a sponge shaped like a microphone. In other words - it was a singing in the shower kit. Maybe it was a real product that constituted advertising. That's the only thing I can guess because there wasn't anything wrong with the picture.

nudity then? Maybe some consider topless men to be nude. While I don't, I don't like seeing guys topless
