As far as I'm concerned, it's only fair for them to either pay their part of the bill or get their own. If not, we should demand our time on everything we disagree with and let them pay the bills. IT DOES WORK BOTH WAYS! I can think of 100's of outrageous things WE NEED EQUAL TIME ON - AND THAT INCLUDES TELEVISION! I will volunteer to do 50% of all kinds of goofy shows. Needless to say, it wouldn't be pretty. I think we could easily raise an ARMY of CHRISTIANS most willing to do radio, television, newspaper, and anything else involved. They would be paying the bill, so why not? They have much more programming at stake than we do, SO IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD DEAL TO ME! WE'LL SEE HOW LONG THEY LIKE IT!

I have to admit that I haven't seen or read much news ever since some Muslim guy was elected as president to some country that only vaguely resembles the USA.  I just get too sick to my stomach.  So on that note, I'm heading toward the coffee pot.  I love getting a couple of cups in me before the rest of the house wakes up and the games begin!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

I do have my coffee, and I'm reading a variety of Godly materials to feed my spirit. This is something that all Christians need to do every day.

I'm listening to the news in the background and see that things aren't looking good for this evil world. It's on a quickening path DOWN! As Christians, we have GOD to glory in and think about, but what do the lost have? I think this is why many hot spots have growing unrest and things are beginning to boil over. This is also true in our own part of the world.

Brothers and Sisters, we are watching all kinds of things that are almost beyond belief, but they are happening in broad daylight under our noses. The entire world is bargaining with and selling out to the devil. Can you see it yet?

SO, what should we do? First, we should pray and pray some more every day. Second, we should keep STANDING for GOOD and never be ashamed of the GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD. Our BOLDNESS FOR CHRIST should increase - not decrease. Wimpy Christians won't be treated any better by the world, and I doubt that GOD likes wimpy Christians very much. There comes a time to declare your MASTER and SERVE HIM, and that time has come. What would decent Christians have to say about bargaining with the devil or selling out to the devil? Is this a matter of debate or compromise? NO!

Our peace and HOPE is with GOD - not the world. ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS!

The daily news is pretty grim, but the GOOD NEWS OF GOD remains the same. The news and words of man will be forgotten, but GOD'S WORD will endure forever! I want to share some portions of Scripture that I read this morning while studying some devotions. A lot of people don't know that Psalms is a book heavy in Prophecy. It also contains Strength for the Children of GOD in times of Trial.

Psalms 36:1-12 ASV  The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.  2  For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, That his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.  3  The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He hath ceased to be wise and to do good.  4  He deviseth iniquity upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil.  5  Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, is in the heavens; Thy faithfulness reacheth unto the skies.  6  Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Jehovah, thou preservest man and beast.  7  How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! HELLO EVERYONE!

       

I just heard a few news bits indicating there's going to be some ENTERTAINING REALITY NEWS soon. 250 names have somehow been released about fat-cats with Swiss bank accounts with a sole purpose of TAX FRAUD. 1800 more names are yet to come, and I understand there might be some interesting names on that list. I wonder how many will be from WASHINGTON. This has the makings of a GREAT SOAP OPERA, but it will be REAL. I wonder how many news outlets will have the courage to cover this. There's also about to be a large number of arrests in reference to WALL STREET FRAUDS. How far will that go, and WHO will it involve - any guesses about WASHINGTON? Would anyone guess FRANK OR DODD?

There's another bit of news that I'm curious about. I can't figure out what method San Diego used in FORCING FIREFIGHTERS to take part in a gay pride parade. I live in a much smaller city, but I guarantee that the National Guard couldn't have gotten that done here. It wouldn't have been pretty in Oklahoma.

UM?, did I mention that we should expect some interesting revelations as the Chicago Political Machine is unveiled. How far up will it go? It's still amazing what a tiny number of honest people can do.

HELLO EVERYONE!

I do have my coffee, and I've decided to spend time every day in studying about the WONDERFUL PROMISES OF GOD! I know that I promised some posts on this subject, and I'm late. I didn't go out, but my back did go out! Regardless, I'm doing the study and look forward to posting it. As a Christian, I can't think of a better topic to focus on! Regardless of your circumstances in this short life, the PROMISES OF GOD are SURE! Temporary health and wealth in this short life are nothing compared to the ETERNAL PROMISES OF GOD!

Brothers and Sisters, I know that it isn't just my opinion that Christians should keep their eyes on JESUS CHRIST and anxiously await his GLORIOUS APPEARING! If we physically live long enough, JESUS CHRIST will be coming soon to RAPTURE US HOME TO GLORY. This is GOD'S PROMISE - along with many other GLORIOUS PROMISES! GOD'S WORD is quite clear that we should know about the RICHES in CHRIST! We should also know that this world IS NOT OUR HOME, and these fragile and broken human bodies are only temporary for this short life. If we die tonight, "Absent from the body - present with the LORD!" There are NO greater PROMISES than what GOD has already given us, and these PROMISES are part of the ULTIMATE TRUTH FOR ETERNITY! KNOW THIS! - TRUST THIS! - THINK ON THESE THINGS EVERY DAY!

Please remember when you study the Scriptures that CHRIST comes TWICE in connection to the End Days:  1 )  The RAPTURE - not all the way down to the earth - rather to catch HIS CHURCH UP in the air and take them HOME TO GLORY;  2 )  The SECOND COMING - all the way down to the earth in GREAT AND HOLY WRATH at the end of the Tribulation Period to crush evil, restore order, and take HIS THRONE in Jerusalem to rule over the world. As Christians, we should know that we are already ETERNAL MEMBERS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST - CHRIST'S CHURCH, and GOD has already promised us we will NOT face HIS HOLY WRATH. There is no Condemnation for those who are in CHRIST, so we are waiting for the RAPTURE and JUDGMENT for REWARDS - not JUDGMENT for PUNISHMENT because CHRIST has already taken our PUNISHMENT in HIS Own HOLY BODY. We will also receive a GLORIFIED BODY like the one CHRIST has at the RAPTURE. Our old and temporary bodies of flesh and blood will be left behind. Brothers and Sisters, these things are the ULTIMATE TRUTHS FOR US - KNOW THESE THINGS - THINK ON THESE THINGS EVERY DAY!

Hello Everyone!

I'm not AWOL - just up and down some on the sick-call list.

I was just reading something beautiful and want to share it with you. First, does anyone know of a righteous nation today? My answer is NO! GOD'S WORD tells us bluntly that the only Righteousness today is IN CHRIST. This is an important distinction because the Righteousness belongs to CHRIST - not the man or woman claiming HIM as LORD and SAVIOUR. However, GOD THE FATHER sees us IN and THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, so HE sees us as Righteous ONLY because of the Righteousness of CHRIST. JESUS CHRIST has IMPUTED HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS to us. As an analogy, our Righteousness Bank Account had a balance of ZERO when we were lost and apart from CHRIST. IN CHRIST, HE has deposited some of HIS Righteousness to our ACCOUNT. The LAW OF FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST makes this possible. Obeying the LAW OF FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST also means that we are REDEEMED - RIGHT NOW! - even NOW in this short life.

Read the following beautiful portion of Scripture and know that it refers to a time in the future that Israel is still waiting for. As Christians, we are just waiting to go HOME and be given our Glorified Body.

Brothers and Sisters, read this carefully and see if you can say "I know the ROCK OF AGES WHO WAS CLEFT FOR ME!" I don't have to wait - HE knows me, and I know HIM.

YES - Isaiah 26:3-4 was the inspiration for Augustus Toplady to write "Rock of Ages" while seeking shelter in a cleft in a rocky crag during a violent thunderstorm.

Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy riven side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Cleanse me from its guilt and power.

I don't know about AWOL but I have been a bit MIA the last two days. Missing here because of actions needed elsewhere.

My daughter had her apartment broken into while she was at the grocery store yesterday. Lot's of damage done. A 9 yr old and 6 yr old girls emptied the freezer and refrigerator scattering the food everywhere, smearing it on walls ceiling and floors. They broke dishes, lamps and other furniture, killed the gold fish, dumped cleaning chemicals all over the house and soaking a young kitten in them, too. They then took a number of items with them when they left.

The kitten had just gone through surgery in order to comply with housing regulations of being declawed and neutered. Between that and all those chemicals in her lungs she was in pretty bad shape for awhile. A little bit of oxygen and whole lot of pampering and she is now back to her ornery self.

The oldest of these two girls is now in juvie. This is not a first offense for her and with a total of over $1500.00 in damages it looks like she will be there awhile this time.

It is a sad situation when children this age are in such trouble and they nor their parents really seem to care.

I've also listened to some news today, and it all seems to be bad. I know where to find some GOOD NEWS, and I'd rather spend my time with that. It's refreshing to spend time with nothing but the TRUTH and know that it will endure forever. As a contrast, the lies and systems of mankind will be forgotten. Count it TRUE that the ONLY GLORY IS GOD AND HIS!!

Amen! There is always solace in the arms of the Lord and His words are always a great source of strength.

With all that is going on in the news it is totally understandable why children such as i mentioned above are confused and doing the things that they are doing. They have no better example to follow that is being given to them. Yes, there is no better example than Jesus and His word but unfortunately these children are not being given that knowledge.

I don't know about AWOL but I have been a bit MIA the last two days. Missing here because of actions needed elsewhere.

My daughter had her apartment broken into while she was at the grocery store yesterday. Lot's of damage done. A 9 yr old and 6 yr old girls emptied the freezer and refrigerator scattering the food everywhere, smearing it on walls ceiling and floors. They broke dishes, lamps and other furniture, killed the gold fish, dumped cleaning chemicals all over the house and soaking a young kitten in them, too. They then took a number of items with them when they left.

The kitten had just gone through surgery in order to comply with housing regulations of being declawed and neutered. Between that and all those chemicals in her lungs she was in pretty bad shape for awhile. A little bit of oxygen and whole lot of pampering and she is now back to her ornery self.

The oldest of these two girls is now in juvie. This is not a first offense for her and with a total of over $1500.00 in damages it looks like she will be there awhile this time.

It is a sad situation when children this age are in such trouble and they nor their parents really seem to care.

Brother, I'm very sorry to hear this. Things like this are simply senseless and mean. It's also sad that something like this comes when times are hard. Please look into some possible victim restitution programs in your area. I know that the parents are supposed to pay for damages up to $25,000 in most places, but we know many times that they either don't have any money or they can stretch legal proceedings out for years. We do have a victim restitution fund HERE that pays for at least part of the bills, and the money is from CRIMINALS as part of their conditional release.

Brother, you and your family will be in my prayers. I know that just the food is hard to replace in these difficult times. Further, I know that we're not rich and can't afford things like this. The system only works part of the time, and it rarely works properly for the victims. Worse, your daughter's home has been violated, and at least her feeling of safety has been taken from her. I really don't know which one is worse:  1) a financial loss;  2) safety now violated and unsure.

Brother, please tell your daughter that she will be in our prayers. Regarding her safety, we are in the Hands of GOD, and HE will work everything out for our Good if we love HIM.

I understand exactly what you mean. It's mind-boggling to consider that two little girls under the age of 10 did this. This is a horrible example of how busy the devil is today. I remember a more innocent time when neighbors might not have appreciated chalk marks on their driveway for the children to play hop-scotch. YES - I do remember getting calls like this early in my career. I usually bought them a box of chalk and found a place where they could play all they wanted to. I also remember asking the calling party if it would have been okay if they had asked first. The answer was usually "YES", and the problem could be worked out right then.

Brother, this is definitely the wrong path these girls are on, and it's deeply concerning where that path might lead. The problems of children are much worse today - probably because the parents really DON'T CARE and are involved in much worse themselves. It's true that the problems are much worse these days, but CHRIST is still the answer. NOTHING is too big or too bad for JESUS CHRIST to cure.

Hello Everyone!

I'm drinking a nice, hot, fresh cup of coffee - AND it smells wonderful.

I was just chuckling some about some news spots I heard today. I'm just about convinced this is now the Twilight Zone. When you think that you've heard it all, wait 10 minutes. I just learned some things that I didn't want to know, so I'm turning it OFF.

I'll just say that this world is like an evil clown about to blow up any minute. On the other end of the spectrum is GOD and HIS WAYS. I'll chose GOD and HIS WAYS every time. GOD is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It's quite revealing to read GOD'S WORD and compare Bible Prophecy to what we see going on in the world today. As Christians, I firmly believe that we should have a BIBLE perspective on everything and forget about the propaganda the world is trying to push. I give thanks that we already serve the KING OF KINGS and are HIS Children.
