We can already see what this government thinks of voters rights (just as it was displayed in Calif) and the importance of the economy. Another display of this arrogance is in their giving billions of dollars to the vote fraud group of ACORN.
I would rather give the money to the MAFIA than ACORN because the MAFIA at least isn't Anti-American, and the MAFIA has no desire to see this turn into a socialist or communist country. The MAFIA also has much more honesty and integrity than ACORN. The MAFIA would at least invest part of the money in things that would be GOOD for this country instead of DESTRUCTIVE for this country. NO - I'm not joking! ORGANIZED CRIME has a much better reputation than ACORN, and they are MORE TRUST-WORTHY! The CRIMES of ACORN and groups like them have almost destroyed a country in a short period of time. I'm sure that the MAFIA doesn't appreciate ACORN because they're BAD FOR BUSINESS AND THE COUNTRY! In REALITY, ACORN ALSO RIPPED-OFF THE MAFIA!

I don't think that I would want to see the Mafia pitted against ACORN.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! I'm making a few posts now while I still can. We're getting buried in an ice storm, and there are power-outages all around us. I know this is weird, but we also have a burn ban and have had many bad fired and some fatalities. I don't know what the weather brings for everyone else, but everyone will be in my prayers. I do have a fresh cup of hot coffee, so I'm happy for now. Everyone have a great day and KEEP LOOKING UP! Love In Christ, Tom

My prayers will be with you all in this storm.
I just now started drinking my first cup of coffee. They were forecasting up to as much as 7 inches of snow for this area. Now they are saying it is only going to be about an inch at the most. The one that came through yesterday was also less than they expected. Most of that one went further south and pretty much missed here.

Our's is all ice, and we're supposed to get hit again in a little bit. This doesn't happen frequently here, so it must be part of that GLOBAL WARMING! So far we've been fortunate and only lost electricity for a few minutes. Just about everything is closed here and there isn't very much moving. Our weatherman did give us a good and accurate warning, so we got what we needed at the grocery store the day before. Nearly everything we have requires electricity, so it gets interesting when the electricity is off for any period of time. I think we had a high today of 22 degrees, and it will get colder tonight, so this GLOBAL WARMING is out of control.

People without power in cold temps and others finding themselves in ditches or in accidents is nothing to laugh at but I do think the "Gore Effect" hitting again is funny. Al Gore is supposed to be going before "the Senate Foreign Relations Committee tomorrow morning about the 'urgent need' to combat global warming." At the exact same time the ice storm that is hitting some of the southern states right now is forecast to hit Washington DC.
Maybe it will be severe enough that he won't be able to make it there.

Global Warming is such a pathetic lie and con-game. I would hope that most folks with common sense have figured this out by now. However, this is a time of GROSS corruption and con-games of all kinds. A lot of it is actually engineered by our own government. It's hard to believe what happens day in and day out now, and the corruption train is gaining speed. In fact, it appears to be a runaway without brakes.
The only good thing about all the horrible circumstances is that they remind us that our FAITH AND TRUST IS IN GOD, AND GOD NEVER FAILS! We're in SAD shape if much of our trust is in man. On that note, I'm off to take an old-guy nap.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!
I've been up for awhile and worked on more than one cup of fresh, hot coffee - plain and black.
We're still iced in here, but we don't have any forecast for more ice storms right now. We are very thankful that our electricity has stayed on most of the time. Large areas are without electricity and will be for maybe weeks. I would ask everyone to keep praying. Many without electricity are the elderly and those depending on medical equipment that must have electricity.
Nearly everything here is still closed down. Many of the major roadways are easily passable, but it's still a pretty good trick to get out of the driveway - much less the residential area. We had a freezing fog last night that put a layer of super-slick ice over everything. We'll see what happens tonight.
In the meantime, stay warm and KEEP LOOKING UP!

Hello Everyone!
I'm working on another cup of coffee and having a pretty good day.
The sun is even out and some of the ice is beginning to melt. Most of the roads are in pretty good shape now, and we've been able to restock our groceries and other things we needed. Sadly, I heard on the news that many people are still having a really hard time. Specifically, I just heard about more than 500 thousand without electricity in Kentucky and 11 people dying in Kentucky alone. They do have quite a few shelters running with heat, but I understand pets aren't allowed. Many people are staying home with their pets because they refuse to leave them to die. Sadly, it appears that some of the elderly owners are dying with their pets as a result. Emergency workers are going door to door right now trying to determine how many people are trying to tough it out in their homes. Very few heating systems work without electricity unless it's an older type like a fireplace. I'd like to ask everyone to keep these people and others in your prayers. There are many more in other states.
On another note, I wanted to share a news spot I just heard. President Obama publicly told Republicans to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh - I assume in reference to the latest SPENDING BOONDOGGLE BILL that might not pass the Senate. The so-called "Fairness Doctrine" is being talked about again because of radio shows like Rush Limbaugh's. The "Fairness Doctrine" is illegal and Unconstitutional, but the Democrats appear to be determined to push it. It would force shows like Limbaugh's to allow equal time for opposing views. What the Democrats don't seem to realize is this could work both ways in all MEDIA - including television. Make this law again, and conservatives should demand equal time on ALL ULTRA-LIBERAL NETWORK TELEVISION STATIONS. It will work in both directions if they pass this illegal and Unconstitutional law.

Brothers and Sisters,
My wife and I are both down and sick, but I want to ask everyone to pray for our country.
Bluntly, we have a Hitler type who has the potential to ruin this country in short order. I can't believe that the youth camps like Hitler had are in the SPENDING BOONDOGGLE. I've never heard of anything so evil and ridiculous in my life.
We could just skip SOCIALISM and go directly to HARDCORE COMMUNISM. That would be a CHANGE. I would hope that significant numbers of people who elected this clown will also start praying for our country. By the way, I'm usually optimistic, but one has to look at this realistically and see this is the perfect opportunity to destroy our free country. Who knows - maybe that's GOD'S Will. When folks start waking up - it will be too late - so, our bed it made and we can sleep in it. Those in charge of government now are certainly a rogue's gallery. Nobody has ever seen such a parade like this. The lies and dishonesty are outrageous, and we can be sure that things are GOING TO CHANGE SOME MORE - for the WORSE!
Brothers and Sisters, I think that all Christians can do at this time is pray. As for me, I will not be calling EVIL good. I will call EVIL what it is - EVIL! This is Biblically Correct to do, especially when you see all of the things that we will be paying for with our tax dollars. I do pay taxes, but I never agreed to pay for abortions in numerous countries. Things like this are just the beginning of things that are currently in this SPENDING BOONDOGGLE. For those who are still wondering, this is not a STIMULUS PLAN - rather an ultra-liberal list of things they've been dreaming about for years. We're only watching the first round right now. It appears that it's going to be a NASTY AND UGLY RIDE! May GOD give us all guidance, strength, and courage to STAND UP and yield to HIS USE - whatever it is. This is a time for BOLDNESS - not whispering and whimpering. We are CHILDREN OF THE KING OF KINGS! Our LORD and SAVIOUR died on the CROSS for us, so yielding for HIS USE is a reasonable SERVICE! In case you're wondering, the economy is just a small problem compared to what's unfolding. What's unfolding is MUCH MORE UGLY than poverty! The WOLF was wearing the clothes of a WOLF and had the history of a WOLF - but the WOLF was elected anyway. Let's see if folks like the CHANGE he brings. REGARDLESS, I will pray for him - AND all Christians should.
Love In Christ, Tom

There are indeed many things about to change and very quickly with most people being totally oblivious to it even though it is all being done right before our eyes. Those that voted Obama and his cohorts into office wanted change and they will get it. I am sure that they will be the ones to complain the loudest when it hits their doorstep.

I am finding it hard to pray for Obama-nation. God is working on me, for this. Though I've had no problem praying for the people of the United States. May GOD give us all guidance, strength, and courage to STAND UP and yield to HIS USE - whatever it is. This is a time for BOLDNESS - not whispering and whimpering. Personally I find it easy to pray for Obama, that God will open his eyes to the damage that he is causing and the dangers that he is bringing on all.
Plenty of coffee here and I didn't have to make it. Help yourself.

GOOD EVENING PASTOR ROGER AND ALL! I'm going to get another fresh cup of coffee here in a few minutes. I love the smell and taste of fresh coffee. I understand why it's hard for many Christians to pray for someone they totally disagree with, even someone who is considered to be evil by many people. Pastor Roger gave some great examples for prayer, and there's a huge list of things to pray about today. We aren't praying for GOD'S SPEED to the evil or that evil will succeed. We are praying for GOD'S wisdom and guidance - just like we do for ourselves. As Christians, we should each already know about lists of our own inadequacies and failures. GOD loves to hear our prayers, and HE can help us with our own short-comings and failures if it's within HIS Perfect WILL. The same is true for our prayers for our leaders and others. Our prayers for our leaders should be genuine, regardless of how much we may disagree with those leaders. I'm not optimistic about many of our leaders, but I will pray for them for the rest of my life. In terms of FAITH AND TRUST, these things are only easy and natural with GOD!Love In Christ, Tom 2 John 1:3 ASV Grace, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Well brothers, God is working on me. It isn't I dislike the man, it's just I forget him in my prayers. I keep wanting to call him "Abomination", then his name is Obama. I think I called him Obama-nation to much.
