Hello Everyone! I do have my coffee. All I know is I like it, and my doctor told me to drink all the coffee I can stand. My doctor did mention several benefits of coffee, all of which I need. I just need to leave the sugar and other things that are bad for you out of it. That's fine since I'm perfectly happy with it black and plain or with sweet and low. I do sometimes put the "diet - no nothing" flavored creamer in it, but I can easily do without that also. Besides, some of that stuff ruins the natural aroma of coffee. I find it odd that some folks buy artificial coffee flavoring for some uses. The real thing is better. I was just laughing and thinking that we live in a day and age where someone would try to sell us artificial or powdered water if they could get away with it. UM? If you did buy powdered water, what would you add before you used it, and what would you be buying? I looked at several kinds of bottled water you can buy at the store recently and saw labels that many of them were normal tap-water from various STANDARD municipal drinking water supplies. In other words, it was the same thing that comes out of the faucet. Why is bottled tap water so expensive? I might understand this better if the expensive bottled water was some kind of spring water or exceptionally pure. YES - I think it is best to just KEEP LOOKING UP! Love In Christ, Tom

Good Morning Brother David and All! Brother David, I see that you're on the forum. I got your email and loved it. I just sent you a reply. I don't want to complain, but I am still ill and barely out of bed. I'm praying for others who are also ill and would appreciate your prayers. I do have my coffee, but I also have chicken broth this morning. I must have one of those things going around - plus some. Regardless, I feel very blessed and give thanks to GOD. I belong to CHRIST, and all TO HIM I owe. Love In Christ, Tom Isaiah 66:19-24 NASB "I will set a sign among them and will send survivors from them to the nations: Tarshish, Put, Lud, Meshech, Tubal and Javan, to the distant coastlands that have neither heard My fame nor seen My glory. And they will declare My glory among the nations. "Then they shall bring all your brethren from all the nations as a grain offering to the LORD, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem," says the LORD, "just as the sons of Israel bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the LORD. "I will also take some of them for priests and for Levites," says the LORD. "For just as the new heavens and the new earth Which I make will endure before Me," declares the LORD, "So your offspring and your name will endure. "And it shall be from new moon to new moon And from sabbath to sabbath, All mankind will come to bow down before Me," says the LORD. "Then they will go forth and look On the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm will not die And their fire will not be quenched; And they will be an abhorrence to all mankind."

Good morning all. It is another beautiful day in the Lord!
I've got the sniffles this morning but I'm still feeling fairly well otherwise so far. I've got a lot to do today and tomorrow so I'm praying that is all it becomes. I'll be praying for you also Brother Tom to get over what ever it is quickly.
We are indeed very blessed and should give thanks to God daily.

Good morning all.
I pray too.
Hello Brother David, Brother, I know that you do, and that makes me very happy. I give thanks that my day started with your email and Psalms 8. This is an incredibly beautiful portion of Scripture that can inspire a most worthy Bible Study. Psalms 8 is another priceless GEM in the REAL RICHES that GOD gives us freely. In fact, GOD has given us so much that we are RICH beyond the imagination of man. This is a WEALTH that GOD lets us keep for Eternity and more reasons for us to give thanks! Pastor Roger, I think that I know what tasks are ahead of you, and you are in my prayers. Jeremy's family will remain in my prayers. In my heart, I know that GOD will work out everything for GOOD for all who love HIM. This is a Promise from GOD that I believe 100%, and I think that Jeremy now knows this better than all of us who remain in this short life. The "Cloud of Witnesses" who have testified about GOD are still growing. MAY GOD GET ALL OF THE GLORY!Love In Christ, Tom 2 Corinthians 4:1-18 NASB Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart, 2 but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; 8 we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So death works in us, but life in you. 13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak, 14 knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Brothers and Sisters,
For a change, I don't have my coffee. I'm going to try and call it a day at a reasonable time when most folks go to sleep. YES, I think that I can go to sleep, so I'll see everyone in the morning with some coffee.
I've listened to quite a few news spots today, and I won't even mention the subject. I'll just say that there will be an attempt for man to glorify himself, and I doubt there will be much room for GOD. I think that I'll pass and study GOD'S WORD instead.
Sleep well everyone and remember, There is ONLY ONE MESSIAH - and for Christians, HE'S already our LORD and SAVIOUR FOREVER! GOD gets ALL of the GLORY, and HIS WILL BE DONE!

Well, it's been 3 days since the last post so.................... I have my coffee, my Bible, and no one is on the forum but God and me. So I'll read a few posts, to see whats happening today. The coffee thread hasn't been real busy, and I don't have my coffee yet - BUT I'll fix that in a few minutes. I'm also on the forum by myself for right now, but GOD is with me also - SO I'm never alone, and neither is any other Christian. I know that we have some regulars with illness and various other problems they are going through. I was just listening to a few news spots and thought that many Christians might also be in SHOCK over all of the things happening right now. There are currently many examples of the vile to the obscene, and it appears that these things are going to be celebrated by many. In reality, Christians should be thinking: we're just closer to being CAUGHT UP FOR A GLORIOUS HOMECOMING! WE NEED TO CONTINUALLY GIVE THANKS THAT THIS WORLD ISN'T OUR HOME!Love In Christ, Tom Isaiah 9:2-7 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. 3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. 4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. 5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire. 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

I do have my coffee now, and I'm trying to catch up on email, read some great devotions, and think about a Bible Study for later tonight.
I still have some news spots going in the background. WHEW! If we need examples of the depravity of man, it's everywhere. As as analogy, it appears that the sewers are ruptured and overflowing. Almighty GOD knew EVERYTHING about all times and all men before the foundation of the world. Many people get confused about this and think it to mean that mankind are robots and pre-programed to do exactly what they're doing. NO - GOD'S Perfect FOREKNOWLEDGE is just that - HE knew all things in Eternity past. As another tiny example, GOD already knows who will answer this post, how, and why. If HE knows when each sparrow will fall from the sky - and HE numbered the hairs on our heads in eternity past - IS THERE ANYTHING GOD DOESN'T KNOW? NO!
Christians - Let's get ready to FLY! Let our AMENS be in the things of GOD - not man. As Christians, GOD has already told us what's going to happen. The harder the days ahead, the CLOSER the DAY OF REJOICING AND HOMECOMING WILL BE!
Love In Christ, Tom
Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
