Hello Everyone!

I'm sitting here having some coffee and enjoying a variety of Christian materials. I was just thinking how much we all have to give THANKS for, and this is just one thing on the list. We have free and easy access to a huge Spiritual Buffet. We can eat all we want 24/7. Many people in the world risk their lives to share portions of the Bible or a devotion. In fact, many people are losing their lives around the world to worship, do a Bible Study, or just pray. We have been given Spiritual riches that we should never take for granted.

Things will change in this part of the world as the Tribulation Period draws nearer. Christians won't always have the freedoms and safety we have today. For these reasons and many others, we need to always give thanks for what GOD gives us. Nothing should be taken for granted. The days will come when Christians all over the world - including here - will face persecution and even death to call JESUS CHRIST our LORD and SAVIOUR. JESUS CHRIST is one who will never change and remain ever Faithful to HIS Flock. HE will be Trustworthy when the world is in chaos. HE will never leave or forsake us, and we already belong to HIM. This alone is worthy of THANKS! We have a better HOPE than the world does, and I give THANKS that this world is NOT my home.

Hello Everyone!

I'm sitting here having a cup of coffee, enjoying some beautiful Christian music, and reading a variety of uplifting Christian materials. I was just thinking of many in this world who don't have this freedom, and it makes me give THANKS all the more. I was also praying for those who I know are ill and those with big trials to face - KNOWING that the day will come soon that we will all be together with CHRIST at our REAL HOME - HEAVEN - FOR ETERNITY. There won't be anymore illness, tears, sorrow, trials, and problems. Many before us have already seen JESUS CHRIST - "absent from the body - present with the LORD." However, the Promises of GOD involve much more than just this. HE has gone to prepare a place for us, and the time will come when HE will give each of us a Glorified Body like HIS.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 NASB
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Corinthians 15:50-58 NASB
Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Hello DreamWeaver,

Brother Bob, I thought you mountain folks were agin' electricity and all of that fancy stuff. I have this mental picture of you with a coonskin cap (still alive).   ;D

I had to kid you just a little bit. I was actually thinking how beautiful a mountain scene would be in the description you gave. It's nice to enjoy the beauty of nature and reflect on the CREATOR Who made it all. I do like to reflect on GOD Himself loving us enough to humble HIMSELF and make HIMSELF manifest in the flesh in the form of a man. HE'S the same ONE who made all of the wonders of the universe. HE went willingly to HIS death on the CROSS for one reason alone: HE Loves us and wanted to take our punishment in HIS Own Body. HE was without SIN and HOLY, yet HE bore the sins of the world - the JUST for the UNJUST. HE did die, but HE arose from the dead on the third day. HE LIVES, so we can have life in HIM. It isn't this short life, RATHER ETERNAL LIFE WITH HIM IN HEAVEN.

Many people accept CHRIST at this time of the year, regardless of whether their circumstances are good or bad. However, many of their circumstances are extremely bad, and they come to CHRIST in desperation. CHRIST will take them at their worst. It's also true that many Christians do volunteer work and many special things during this time of the year because of having time off and other reasons. So, it's little wonder that the HOLY SPIRIT many times brings them together - the lost with the saved - and there are many more opportunities to witness. Nobody knows how many months or years are left in this Age of Grace, but people are still accepting CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOUR.

Santa Claus is a LIE, but JESUS CHRIST is completely REAL. There isn't any fat man delivering toys, but the child born of a virgin WAS AND IS REAL. HE brought the ultimate GIFT, the GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE and deliverance from the curse of sin and death. Belief in HIM, who HE is, and what HE did for us is the only way to be SAVED. HE WAS AND IS GOD THE SON, JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR FOREVER! Let us pray that the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD will soften many hearts and hosts will call HIS HOLY NAME asking HIM for forgiveness and asking HIM to be their personal LORD and SAVIOUR. The time is growing short, and JESUS CHRIST is the only way to SALVATION!

We can all pray for the same thing:  that the lost will accept JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOUR! HE is the most priceless GIFT that anyone can receive.
