(As Christians, GOD has already given us our Promises, so we know that we are in HIS Hands for Eternity.) Amen to that Blackeyedpeas, where could we ever find a leader who will wash away all of our sins and give us eternal bliss. The coffee is hot and it's raining and freezing here in Pennsylvania, calling for snow also so I guess the coffee better stay hot . You know I still haven't figured out this insert quote thing. It's clear here and just a bit on the cool side. It was really cold yesterday though. The quote thing is actually easy once you have it firgured out. there are two ways to do it. 1. You can click on the quote button for the post that you want to quote. If you only want part of it you can highlight what you don't want and hit the back button and it will remove that part. 2. You can go to the post box and click on the button across the top that has an image on it that looks like a cartoon quote box. Type or paste the comment inside of the quotes that come up.

Hello Sentry, The easiest way is to hit the quote button in the message you want to quote, and everything is done automatically. If you don't want to use the entire quote, just delete what you don't want - BUT leave the quote tags within the brackets alone. The quote tags make it work. I think that I need a cup of coffee, so I'm off to get one. I might even get something good to dunk in that coffee.

Good morning
GOOD MORNING BROTHER DAVID AND ALL! I did get my coffee, but I was a good boy and skipped the cookies and donuts. SO, I don't have anything to dunk, and I'm DUNKLESS! That's actually the biggest problem I have this morning, so I know this is going to be a good day. Besides, every day belongs to the LORD and was made by the LORD, so let's be glad and rejoice in it. Love In Christ, Tom Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Brother David,
I'm happy to hear that. I'll speak for myself and say that I'm always the happiest when I'm doing something constructive for the LORD. I do like to stay busy doing something, but my health limits what I can do. So, I usually stay busy doing something for the LORD with my computer. It doesn't matter how small the task is. I also enjoy doing Bible Studies every day. This is one of the things that GOD'S WORD tells us to do if we want our "joy to be more full." GOD gave us lists of things to do in HIS WORD that definitely impact our happiness in every area of our lives. I'm more firmly convinced than ever that every Christian should spend time every day in GOD'S WORD. We should consider this as feeding our SPIRIT, and feeding our SPIRIT is just as important as eating food for our bodies. In fact, it's more important! As Christians, we will just be using these bodies of clay for a short period of time - BUT our SPIRIT is ETERNAL!
Love In Christ, Tom
Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! I do have my coffee, and I'm getting ready to go to a family gathering on a farm about 50 miles from here. There will be 4 generations there - from several weeks old to 88 years old. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Every day should be a wonderful day for giving THANKS to GOD! Forget about the problems and noise of this evil and dying world! Our Promises from GOD are in view and should be in view more clearly by the day, regardless of what troubles this world has. As Christians, we are NOT of this world, so that is just something else to give THANKS FOR! Just think about this if you are a Christian, and I think you will agree. We aren't supposed to love or like this world because we'll only be here for a short time. Our CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN! GIVE THANKS! We await the beautiful Promises of GOD, and they are beyond our imagination. We would like to encourage others to investigate the ONLY SALVATION, and we know that the time is probably getting short. Each individual must accept the ultimate responsibility of accepting or rejecting CHRIST as their personal LORD and SAVIOUR. The consequences are ETERNAL! Acceptance of the GIFT of SALVATION must be done voluntarily.Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable GIFT, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour Forever! Love In Christ, Tom 1 John 3:1-2 See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. 2 Corinthians 4:1-18 NASB Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart, 2 but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; 8 we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So death works in us, but life in you. 13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak, 14 knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

GOOD NEWS! 1: Romans 3:10 NASB as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."
2: Romans 3:23 NASB for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
3: Romans 5:12 NASB Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--
4: Romans 6:23 NASB For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
5: Romans 1:18 NASB For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
6: Romans 3:20 NASB because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
7: Romans 3:27 NASB Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.
8: Romans 5:8-9 NASB But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
9: Romans 2:4 NASB Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
10: Romans 3:22 NASB even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;
11: Romans 3:28 NASB For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
12: Romans 10:9 NASB that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
13: Romans 4:21 NASB and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
14: Romans 4:24 NASB but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,
15: Romans 5:1 NASB Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
16: Romans 10:10 NASB for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
17: Romans 10:13 NASB for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED." Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!, JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour forever!

I know that I'm late, had putter problems. I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. I have my coffee and the sun is shinning here in Pennsylvania, a little on the cold side. I had a good day yesterday, my sister is with us and will be leaving on Saturday. I don't have much ambition today, I know it can't be all the ham, turkey, mashed potatoes and all of the other goodies I ate yesterday, working on me. I pray all who are traveling a safe return home. Blessings in Christ
