Revelation 22:1 NASB  Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb,

Revelation 22:2 NASB  in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Revelation 22:3 NASB  There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him;

Revelation 22:4 NASB  they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.

Revelation 22:5 NASB  And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.

Revelation 22:6 NASB  And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true"; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.

Revelation 22:7 NASB  "And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book."

Revelation 22:8 NASB  I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

What is to come?  I give thanks that we know!

Love in Christ,
Tom

AMEN BROTHER DAVID!

You and I, and many people that we know will leave these broken bodies behind. GOD will give us Glorified Bodies like the one JESUS CHRIST has. That will happen in the blink of an eye. I feel sorry for the lost. We can keep trying with the time that we have left, pray, and hope that the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD softens their hearts to accept JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOUR.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Ezekiel 7:1-9  Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,  2  Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.  3  Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.  4  And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.  5  Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.  6  An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.  7  The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.  8  Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.  9  And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

Brother, even if it happens that these physical bodies of ours are not alive at the time of the rapture it will still be just as wonderful and glorious a moment. One that we can praise and thank God for again and again.

AMEN AND AMEN!

If we die before the RAPTURE, it will be "Absent from the body and present with the LORD." Our old body will be resurrected and changed into a Glorified body fit for our Heavenly Inheritance. If we are alive at the RAPTURE, our old bodies will be changed in the twinkling of an eye into a Glorified body by GOD. Many of the lost laugh and mock these precious promises of GOD, but every single Promise of GOD will be fulfilled most perfectly.

Some even laugh about life without a physical body of clay. GOD can do all things. The soul and spirit of a Christian is ETERNAL. The Glorified Body GOD is going to give us will be like a Heavenly Covering compared to our old body that the Bible refers to as a TENT. Our tent is temporary and has all kinds of problems. The Heavenly Covering is Beautiful, like the Body JESUS CHRIST has, and that BODY will last for ETERNITY without illness, pain, disability, sorrow, or tears. We could wonder how this is possible, but we must remember that our HEAVENLY FATHER is the CREATOR HIMSELF. HE can do as HE pleases in Heaven and on earth. Just as this earth is not our home, these current physical bodies are not our home. Our HOME and CITIZENSHIP is in HEAVEN with GLORIFIED BODIES. Just think, we have already been rescued and ADOPTED as CHILDREN of the KING OF KINGS - with a FULL INHERITANCE that is beyond human imagination. All that we have here lasts but for the blink of an eye compared to ETERNITY WITH JESUS CHRIST. Brothers and Sisters, we'll see each other in the CLOUDS someday soon, and we will spend ETERNITY together with JESUS CHRIST.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Well brother, we will never know when Jesus calls us home.

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Though if we are called home before Christmas, what a wonderful Christmas present that would be!!

Hello Brother David,

I echo what Brother Bob (DreamWeaver) said. I think of this often, and it gives me great joy to think about the Promises of GOD. There is NO Bible Prophecy left that must be fulfilled before the RAPTURE happens, so it could really happen at any moment. If it did happen tonight, WHAT A TIME OF REJOICING THAT WOULD BE! It makes me happy just to think about it. Regardless, we are going to spend Eternity together with JESUS in Heaven soon. We're not going to miss this world or the evil in it.

Love In Christ,
Tom

1 John 3:1-2  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.  2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

I know no one knows when but thank you for reminder.  Wink Isn't it odd that Jesus doesn't know when he will return. Guess God will tell him it is time.

I am also in agreement.  I think about it every day, several times a day.  In fact one of the first things I do each morning is look at the sky!  By Christmas would be wonderful!  And knowing that no one knows the day or the time, I still think that Inaugeration Day would be perfect too!  Grin

Brothers and Sisters,

I have my coffee, and I'm enjoying the reading of a variety of beautiful Christian materials. This is a freedom and liberty that I love to practice every day. I was just thinking that I take my freedom and liberty too lightly, and I know that I need to THANK GOD more often for every good thing HE Gives us. We are rich in Spiritual Blessings. As an analogy, GOD has spread out a SPIRITUAL BUFFET before us, and we can freely take all that we want. We can fill ourselves to the point of overflowing, and that's what GOD wants us to do. Just think about this and give THANKS!

Psalms 111:2 NASB  Great are the works of the LORD; They are studied by all who delight in them.

YES, we can study the works of the LORD, and HE wants us to. We won't understand everything, but HE has told us what HE wants us to know. That is more than enough to fill us with joy and anxiously await our REAL HOME AND CITIZENSHIP. This is also something that I love to think about often. This evil world and this short life is nothing in comparison to what awaits us as CHILDREN OF THE KING OF KINGS!

Revelation 1:7-8  Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.  8  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

HE is the SAVIOUR we love, and HE has already rescued us from the wrath to come. HE loved us enough to die for us on the CROSS, and it's HIS Blood that washes away our sins. YES, HE died, but no grave could hold HIM. He arose from the dead and is our LIVING LORD AND SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST! If we believe and understand what HE did for us, how could we not love HIM?

1 John 4:9-11  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  10  Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  11  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Brothers and Sisters, think about these things every day - AND every day will then be another wonderful day that the LORD has made that we can be glad and rejoice in. If you aren't smiling yet, read the following Scripture and go to HIS WORD to read many more just like it.

1 Corinthians 6:17 NASB  But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable GIFT, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour Forever!

I've had my pot of coffee and I am now celebrating with a diet cola before noon!  After, what? 3 months or longer?  I have finally finished all the curtains that I was making for my friends boat!  WhooHoo!  What a job!  He is very pleased with them and he said that everyone that comes over comments on them!  Today all I had left to do was the tie-backs and that finishes it!
