I'm sitting here having a cup of coffee and listening to the news. I'm wondering if things could get more INSANE!

A lot of retired and disabled people are wondering if their little pensions are safe. NO - nothing is safe. Who knows how bad things are going to get and how quickly?

By the way, everything isn't gloom and doom, especially for Christians. Things are just much closer to going HOME. YES - we do have GOD with us. Average people, including Christians, might be getting ready to face some pretty hard times. Regardless of what they do with pending bills, we are watching things fall apart. In other words, things are going to get much worse. This is just realistic, bailout or not.

SO, what should Christians do? - What we should be doing anyway. We should be praying, studying our Bibles, praying some more, and SHARING THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD! We are already in GOD'S Hands, so we can pray and yield to GOD'S Leading. What else can we do?

Brothers and Sisters, we are actually watching a MASSIVE EXERCISE IN SOCIALISM! WHAT WE HAVE KNOWN IN THE PAST WILL NEVER BE AGAIN! One doesn't need to be a prophet or even be particularly intelligent to know what the consequences will be for what we see happening now. Sadly, there doesn't appear to be alternatives with greatly different outcomes. The WOLVES AND FOXES HAVE FLEECED US, and there doesn't appear to be any way of getting much of our wool back. In other words, WE'VE BEEN HAD AND CRIME DOES PAY! If we put ALL of the scoundrels in PRISON and confiscated everything they own, the victims still wouldn't be anywhere near whole. It appears that the best we could hope for is the victims recovering 20 to 30 cents on the dollar. By the way, the victims are all of us.

That 20 to 30 cents will also be gone due to this and much more because of the effect this will have on the overall economy.

I just suggested to my wife that we both get moose hunting licenses, get a GOOD arctic tent, and move to Alaska. She told me to write and let her know how I was doing.

   My wife has gone to sleep now, but I'll mention this in the morning. Lots of average folks might be fishing soon. Besides, we might need that ammunition used in hunting for something else. Somehow, I don't think that my wife is going to be happy with any of my suggestions. I was just thinking that it might be time to unleash the ultimate weapon:  send all the wives to Washington, D.C. and let them clean that place out. I think that Washington, D.C. would offer an unconditional surrender in a matter of days.

Count me in!  I've been on a ranting rampage all day so I"m ready!  I must be feeling better because I've got my "attitude" back in full swing!  But according to your earlier post here, I don't think I'm the only one around here sporting that "tude"!      Or PR either, for that matter!

I think that most average folks have been pushed and slapped WAY BEYOND their toleration limit. I know that I feel that way, and I am working on my "TUDE"! We are victims. Our representatives are supposed to be servants of the people. Instead, they are trying to enslave us with the results of their dereliction of duty and ABUSE OF OFFICE!

It's almost time for tar, feathers, and rails.

Hey!  I forgot to tell you guys my best new ever!  Probably because I've so sick the past few days.....
My little 4 year old grandson asked Jesus into his heart this weekend!  Whoo Hoo!  It was the happiest day of my life!  I am so Rapture-Ready now!
I know that the Lord hung the moon, ....but if He didn't then I'm sure it was my little Matias!  Of course I might be a little biased....

That is great news, sister and a perfect reason to celebrate no matter what else may be going on.

Yes, I'm ready for using that tar, feathers and rail only the rail will be used to carry them to jail instead of just out of town and the keys will be purposefully lost. Perhaps the jail doors can even be welded permanently shut.

I've listened to a little bit of news and have a new game to play. If certain politicians appear on a news spot, I'd like to know how often they can appear without lying. I don't even need the sound to be turned on for certain democrats. If their lips moved - they lied. I've also gotten to the point that I can barely stand what they call talking points, especially when those talking points are lies. This current crisis hasn't done anything to increase the frequency of truth. Their political interests are more important. As an example, Reid mentioned McCain could help greatly. When McCain got their to help, Reid said that nobody needed him. UM? - Sounds like dirty politics. They were nowhere near an agreement yesterday, but they are on the edge of an agreement as of this morning. UM?, I wonder if any of us are smart enough to figure this out.  DUH!

I think that the house and the senate need at least two additional positions for folks who do nothing but public flogging of so-called representatives. By the way, the flogging needs to be televised. News clips with just a few hours apart now can show obvious lies. It's even more interesting if one compares various statements made over a period of weeks or months. Most of them lie so often that they can't remember which lies they told, where, or when. I'm watching some video reminders right now that indicate just how bad the lying is. We need to HIRE those folks for public flogging immediately. We might even need to hire some spares in case the main FLOGGERS get too worn out. Some politicians would need to be flogged several times a day, and it would be a horrible thing to have a worn out flogger.

Sister, I almost missed this and I'm glad that I didn't. Things like this always make me very happy. I also love to hear the little ones talking about JESUS. This is a beautiful time, and I'm very happy for you and your grandson. Give him an extra HUG and tell him it's from Oklahoma.

It appears there never was anything close to a deal on the bailout. UM? - One side agreed and the other one didn't - and then Reid blew his top. The democrats do still have to consult with the republicans on problems of this magnitude, and it appears they forgot this. One of the problems appears to be the democrats wanting to put 20% of the money in a corrupt housing program called Acorn. SO, we have a massive socialist program with corruption injected, and the other side just didn't buy it.

BY THE WAY, the priority is in Washington, D.C. right now - nowhere else. Forget about the debate. The WOLVES AND FOXES ARE BUSY, AND SOME OF THE ROOSTERS AREN'T GOING TO STAND FOR IT!

BLUNTLY, it appears that many in Washington, D.C. right now want to fix the RIP-OFF WITH ANOTHER RIP-OFF. I'll just say that I would rather have McCain and Palin in Washington, D.C. watching what's left of the hen house. I would at least HOPE that no portion of the 700 BILLION dollars will go to radical, anti-American groups to address this crisis.
