Conceder it snagged!! I wish I had time to be on the forum more. But the work for the Lord, will always come first. By the way, it's never to late to have a cup of coffee.  Hello DreamWeaver, Brother Bob, we all know there are many forms of working for the LORD other than just face to face. Christians Unite is most obviously a work for the LORD as the first example that comes to mind. GOD uses all kinds of communication methods to distribute HIS WORD and HIS GOOD NEWS TODAY!, and I give thanks for that. Further, we have GOD'S Promise that HIS WORD will never return void, so GOD is still working in many mighty ways around the world with just about every known media known to man - INCLUDING THIS ONE! I think you already knew this and need another cup of coffee.  Love In Christ, Tom Ephesians 1:18-23 NASB I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. |

Well a new Church will be open this Son-day for the Lord. Yes i Need another cup of coffee, but the bed looks better.
And brother Tom, yes I mis-spoke, I had meant what I am doing for the Lord. This forum is the work of Christ, and his Word. And I do miss being here, with alot with my brothers and sisters.
Looking at my spelling and correcting it, I think I need bed. So I'll say for now, nighty, night.............. ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hello Brother Bob, I knew what you meant, and that's why I put a wink. I do have my coffee, but I'm not quite like a piece of chained down lightning yet. These days - I settle for static electricity. This does bring to mind many thoughts about serving the LORD. For us, the best we can do is yield for GOD'S Use - whatever it is - large or small. Whatever GOD lays on our hearts to do is worthy. I'm thinking back about a large number of sweet Christians who have a lifetime of yielding to whatever GOD wants done. It could be any number of things or any combination of things: cleaning the church, yard or maintenance work for the church, cooking at Bible Camps, counseling, teaching, etc., etc., etc. In short, GOD has a lengthy list of things that need to be done, and there are usually armies of sweet Christians ready to jump in and do whatever the LORD wants done. One example I remember the best is the pastor also being the janitor. That was my dad and others I know well. There are many interesting and truthful illustrations involving THE BODY OF CHRIST and things that need to be done for the LORD. JUST THINK - we will be spending Eternity together soon. GOD'S WILL BE DONE! - AND IT WILL BE!

Who's BEP? Regardless, I won't tell him and can keep a secret. I see that some are talking about trying some sleep, so I'll say goodnight now. I'll be back and forth for a few hours. Hello GrammyLuv, Have fun. I'll just assume from the tent picture that you're vacationing in a tent. My attempts at family camping were disasters that could have been made into movies. They would have been comedies for everyone but us. We did everything wrong. We even had families of raccoons making fun of us. We did survive, but it was an embarrassing experience. If the raccoons had pies, they would have thrown them at us. They gave us no respect at all, and it should have been against the law for city folks to camp there. It was only a "Kodak Moment" for the raccoons, and I'm sure that we're in their family albums they pass around. The closest we come to camping these days is air-conditioned cabins in State Parks with armed Park Rangers to protect us from raccoons and other DANGEROUS WILD ANIMALS. |
