THANKS! - I love the pictures and had to snag them. Al Gore could support a small city with just what he spends for his electric bill. When I hear his name, I do immediately think of HOT AIR.

That 1 to 2 inches we were supposed to get here last night turned into 8 to 13 and half real quick. We got 8 inches here but some of the towns nearby here got as much as 13 and a half inches. All the area schools were closed down and local businesses either closed or worked with skeleton crews. Yep, global warming sure made a mess of things here.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

OK you guys does any one have a broom cause this winter i used a broom head shoveling the snow on my porch and at this very moment the head of my broom got off the stick I had already once put some tape around the stick so it would be so loose so i add at this very moment add some more tape to the stick ,It will work  a little bit longer.i hope, cause right now the snow storm turn into a ice storm and the only place my little dog goes to releave himself is on the porch on a news paper  and seeing that my mobility is not so good as to use a shovel i am left with a broom Well you all get the picture.. Maybe the broom needs some of that coffee in order to perk it up.    Cheesy

Here's a "coffee" question for yous:

Besides your own home brew, where in your town do you get the best cup of coffee?

Church, especially so if I make it. The next best place to that is a small Family restaurant we occasionally visit.

Yeah, I'm with ya.  A little cafe' and they out of ceramic cups.  For some reason coffee just tastes better in a ceramic cup.  And have you ever had a cup of coffee after eating something spicy?  Like a mexican dinner?  Oh Wow!  It's fabulous!  A whole different experience!

lol  ...  spicy is out for me. My cast iron stomach has turned into rice paper.

Yes, coffee in a ceramic cup is best. That is what I use at home, too.

I think that a little bit of a variety is good from time to time. I worked shift work for many years, so we all had favorite places to get coffee. For whatever reason, I never developed a taste for fancy or exotic coffee. So, I really liked the plain cafe blends better than the expensive coffee shop blends. By expensive, I'm talking about places like Starbucks. I really do like the 50 cents a cup coffee much better than the 5 dollar a cup coffee, and it isn't just because of price.

I agree.  About the only time I have Starbucks is if some else is buying!  And of course in Seattle we have one or two of them on every block!
