We have 40 mph winds here and gusting to 50 or better quite frequently. At the moment it is raining but it is supposed to be turning to snow soon. Even though we aren't supposed to get much snow they are calling for blizzard like conditions because of the strong winds.

I think that we must have caught the edge of something. Things have settled down here and I have no idea what it's going to do. Our TV weathermen here are never right, so we usually just choose the opposite of whatever they say.   Cheesy   We have one of those stations where the people change all of the time, and some of them do fairly well and are hired away by bigger stations.

However, we are fairly close to the tornado center of the world in Norman, OK, and I have a weather radio that I use to listen to them when we think things are going to get really bad. I doubt that anything really bad is going to happen today, and I do have an alarm radio set for Norman. We don't consider 50 to 60 mph winds to be much here, even though it usually does damage.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

The wind sure does sound like more than 50 mph. I'll be back later if I don't get blown away.

I dealt with that yesterday, official wind gust to 51 MPH.

In the meantime -

AND HAPPY SON-DAY! Every day is SON-DAY!

AMEN!!

This is another wonderful day that the LORD has made. Let us be glad and rejoice in it.

It doesn't matter what day of the week it is or what day of the year it is - They all belong to the LORD - and HE is MASTER of all.

I've been praying for many who might have been hit with rough weather last night. For a change, most of the strange weather has missed us in Oklahoma this time. It's definitely time for another cup of coffee. Brother David, tea is also DEFINITELY allowed and so is DUNKING. So, I guess that I'll be dunking my whole wheat, high fiber, low cholesterol, low fat English muffin.   Cheesy

That sounds good brother.

I had a dream last night. The Rapture came. I have been thinking about the Rapture alot, so it's no wonder that I have been having dreams about the Rapture.

I'm having oatmeal today. I don't think that would be a good thing to dunk in my coffee.  Cheesy Cheesy

A wonderful thing to dream about. Lord may it come soon and may many, many accept Him as Saviour first.

I had a dream last night. The Rapture came. I have been thinking about the Rapture alot, so it's no wonder that I have been having dreams about the Rapture.

Good Morning Brother David and All!

Dreaming about the RAPTURE would definitely be a beautiful dream. In fact, it's a beautiful Promise from GOD that we should all think about often. I do like to dwell on the Promises of GOD several times every day and give THANKS!

As Children of the KING OF KINGS, our Hopes are much different than the lost of the world. First, we should all know that GOD keeps all of HIS Promises, so they are so SURE that we can consider them ALREADY DONE! Most importantly, our Hopes are not of this world, in this world, or in men. Our Hopes are CONCRETE in the ABSOLUTE REALITY of JESUS CHRIST! It's wonderful to know that this world is NOT our HOME, and there is MUCH MORE than just this short life. I remember having a conversation about medical advances recently with several dear Brothers in CHRIST. A thought crossed my mind that I had to share:  The GREAT PHYSICIAN will give HIS Children a full-body transplant at the RAPTURE, and it will all happen in the twinkling of an eye. The GREAT PHYSICIAN is none other than ALMIGHTY GOD. Flesh and blood is corruptible and can't claim the inheritance GOD has waiting for us, so GOD has promised to give us a Glorified Body like the one CHRIST has at the RAPTURE. The Glorified Body HE gives us WILL BE FIT for our inheritance, and it will be incorruptible. The body we have temporarily used like a tent will be left behind. These are the Promises of GOD, and they will be fulfilled perfectly at HIS appointed time. If we physically die before the RAPTURE, we will be absent from the body and present with the LORD.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 NASB
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Corinthians 15:50-58 NASB
Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O  DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

AMEN  to that. Glad to hear you all made it through the severe weather alright. The weather here has been on the cold side for a few days, but today was back up in the high 70's. I know I should not complain as most of you have been up to your waists in snow with temperatures near 0. They say that the weather in the south thins out your blood. Not sure i believe it, but we had dressed in layers of warm clothing on the cold days.  And when we went to vote yesterday there were northerners in their shorts playing games of horseshoes. I was so cold I was even wearing gloves.
Well it's time for a cup of coffee. That should warm my hands as God's love warms my heart and soul. I keep looking up, but have found its best to do that only when standing still, as in walking one tends to trip or run into people and trees. LOL.

I had a nightmare last night. I dreamed I was in court, and was to pledge to allah under oath. I refused and to the court that there is only one God, that is the God of God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That is Jesus Christ, not allah who is a a false god.

Then I remember saying that there is no 72 virgins waiting for those who killed innocents. Then saying allah kills, Jesus saves. Then I woke up, thinking over the dream, it wasn't in America, but another country.

Now , I need another cup of coffee.
