Well friends, I guess it's Grammy's turn to not feel so well and feel her pains.  In the winter my psoriasis breaks out more than usual and that in turn causes psoriac arthritis.  The cold of course magnifies the pain.  I'm wishing I could lay down but the little guy and I are waiting for the food bank to open up and then since it is over by my mother's we will pop in to say hello.  Not usually a lot of fun, more of a duty.
My mom is a Christian and I have no doubt about that, but she is a very critical woman.  I know that she loves me as she does all her children, but she is not one to show that outwardly much.  I never know what kind of junk is going to come out of her.  But to be fair, other times I am pleasantly surprised and have a good visit.
We will pray that is the case today since I'm really not feeling very well.  The pain of the arthritis has upset my stomach.

I just read over this and I hope the mood of it doesn't bring anyone down.  I'm just letting you know me a bit more and so will post it anyway.  Just feeling my age today I guess.

We all have our problems in this world. I fully understand the pain. Whith the trip I just had and now this weather I am pretty much in the same boat as others here. The weather affects the gulf war illness and osteoarthritis and so does excessive activity. What an uplifting thought though that one day we will not have to suffer any longer and our heavenly father will take away all those pains and tears forever.

Sister, I am glad that you shared this with us. It gives us a much better idea on how to pray for you.

Hello Grammyluv,

Many of us pray for each other every day, and you will be in our prayers. Join us. There might even be some young folks reading this who never have any pain at all. You will have different problems and still need prayer. In fact, we all have need of each other's prayer and encouragement. We can also help each other to become stronger in CHRIST. To top things off - GOD is with us every step of the way and we're never alone.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Thank you Brother Tom.  I've already beat ya to it.  I've been praying for all you since I first came aboard!  We all need prayer!
I'm feeling pretty good today and excited too!  This is my last three days at Microsoft!  Yippee!  On to bigger and better things!

Hello Grammyluv,

Sister, I'm very happy for you. I know that you'll have an opportunity to help a lot of people who really need it. It will be a challenge, but there will be a lot of satisfaction at the end of a hard day. I'm also happy to hear that you are praying for us. Please know that you are in our prayers also. I'm praying right now that GOD will richly bless you in your new work of helping others.

Love In Christ,
Tom

1 Corinthians 2:12-16 NASB
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.

Hello Yvette, my prayers are with you sister. As others have stated above, we all have our aches, and pains. But prayers help each of us out, of the pain.

Are you sure that the aches and pain isn't from leaving micro-dummy soon? Wink

In the mean time, it time to make a pot of coffee, or two.

Hello, I will keep you in my prayers as well. Know a lot about those aching joints and muscles. I think the weather has a lot to do with it. Glad to hear for the most part all is well with everyone. Hope you all have a nice Thanksgiving. Now is the time to relax and put my feet up and have a few cups of coffee. Glad you got the coffee brewing dreamweaver.

Actually I think the reason I'm feeling so good tonight is knowing that I only have 16 more working hours at Microsoft!  If one more Yuppie asks me what time it is, I think I will scream.
For pete's sake.  You've got money....BUY A WATCH!  and quit interruping me!  All (thought about saying) in sisterly love
of course!

Snow
It won't be long before we'll all be there with snow
Snow
I want to wash my hands, my face and hair with snow
(Maybe after it's been heated on the stove.)

Snow
I long to clear a path and lift a spade of snow (NOT)
Snow
Oh, to see a great big man entirely made of snow
(That someone else made.)

Where it's snowing
All winter through
That's where I want to be
(Inside next to a fireplace.)
Snowball throwing
That's (not) what I'll do
How I'm longing to ski
Through the snow-oh-oh-oh-oh (NOOOO!)

Those glist'ning houses that seem to be built of snow
Snow
Oh, to see a mountain covered with a quilt of snow
(In a picture.)

What is Christmas with no snow
No white Christmas with no snow
Snow

I'll soon be there with snow
I'll wash my hair with snow
And with a spade of snow
I'll build a man that's made of snow (NOT!)
I'd love to stay up with you but I recommend a little shuteye
Go to sleep
And dream
Of snow (In someone else's yard miles and miles away.)

 Grin   Grin    ROFL!

We also have a chance of snow for this coming weekend and freezing temperatures tonight and tomorrow. For those who really love the snow and cold, I have some suggestions:  1) Save an old pair of glasses; 2) go to Hobby Lobby and buy a can of spray white frosting; 3) spray the glasses; 4) strap some ice bags to yourself; 5) play "Frosty the Snowman" in the background over and over again.

There you have it - an instant snow storm.   Grin
