Amen to that.  I guess we are seeing more news right now during the upcoming Christmas season of just how much predjudice there is against us.  They are fighting Christian rights, morals and values at every turn.

It is the only adage It doesn't exist so we don't want to see it and if we can't see it it doesn't exist. The truth is that they strings of their hearts are being tugged, they are being convicted of their sins and they refuse to acknowledge that because they don't want to give up their sinful ways. That hurts so they want to bury it all out of their sight and minds.

That is so true Pastor Roger.  I was thinking along those lines just the other day, and thinking how miserable they all must feel down inside.  A knowledge of God is born into each human so without Him there is just this big hole that only He can fill.  To work so hard at denying Him, has to make them fell just lost and useless.  I just couldn't wake up each day feeling like that when I know the joy that comes from knowing Him and how very much He loves me!
As a child that never felt loved and then spending a lot of wasted years "looking for love in all the wrong places" as the song goes, the best feeling I have in the world is knowing that God LOVES me!

Good Morning Sister Yvette and Everyone!

That's a cute graphic and I had to snag it, but you got one that hits back. I wouldn't hit back if someone woke me up before spending $6 for a cup of coffee. Speaking of that, I need another cup of coffee right now. Rest assured that it will be CHEAP, fresh, and a much better tasting variety done at home.

Well that's what happens when you stay up all night and sleep the morning away!  I'm one of those, "Early to bed, early to rise" types.  I've already finished a pot all by myself!  I've read the news, done a couple of posts, cleaned the house and given my grandson a nice bubble bath!
His mom and I are going to do our Thanksgiving Dinner shopping here in a bit then it will be time for our wonderful Saturday afternoon nap!

You got up before i did but I still have breakfast and dishes done, gave my dog a bath (me, too) and had a wonderful group deliver a Thanksgiving meal to my door. I had the opportunity of talking about Jesus with them and they even joined me in a prayer.

Well lets see, I've finished up my sermon for tomorrow, vacuumed the house, kissed my wife as she went to work this morning at 6:00am. Finished 2 pots of coffee, started dinner for tonight.

Though, I don't do dishes, Lizzie says no man can wash dishes.  Roll Eyes   Thats kind of hard for me to take since I was in the restaurant business for 30+ years. And now my daughter has my recipes, for her cafe she wants to open. I'm an advisor, to my daughter and son in-law for the cafe. So in a way, I still have my hands in the restaurant business. Tongue Tongue Tongue

Since you don't know sister, I only sleep 2-3 hours at a time because of pain. Being fitted for a new brace yesterday, took alot out of me. I really dislike this new brace too. Shocked It starts from my neck (C-1) down to my mid back.

His mom and I are going to do our Thanksgiving Dinner shopping here in a bit then it will be time for our wonderful Saturday afternoon nap!

Well our shopping is all done, for Thanksgiving sister. Tongue We have 30+ people coming over for Thanksgiving dinner.

It sounds like you all have a good time planned for Thanksgiving. There is going to be around a dozen or a little more for us on Thanksgiving. We will be at our eldest sons place, I think. Our youngest son will not be able to come home from the Army. It will be the first time we haven't had him here. We will have him on a cell phone at the time though.

I'm looking forward to it but I am looking more forward to the Christmas season as our whole family will be together then with a wonderful addition. My youngest son will be married then.

The whole body of the Church (my) will be here for Thanksgiving. What better way to give thanks to the Lord, then with more brothers, and sisters in Christ. Yes I have a sermon, based on Thanksgiving, before dinner. There are only a few that won't make it here, for Thanksgiving.

I'm a "teaser" Brother Bob.  I do know about your pain and I truly am sorry for it.  And I do pray for you.  I know Brother Tom's hours are mixed up too.  Don't take anything I say seriously when we are all on a 'jesting' thread.  Believe me, you'll know if I get serious and I do on other threads.  Serious and sarcastic too.  It's the 'voices' you see.  (teasing again!)  Cheesy Cheesy

My youngest daughter and mother to my grandson is hosting Thanksgiving this year.  I'll be her first time and of course Grammy is helping.  We just got back from shopping.  (Us and everyone else in Seattle!)  I've just gotten things put away for the dishes that I'm making and taking and got the little guy in Grammy's bed.  I'm thinking about joining him there in minute!  Grin
We will have about 10 at our table including my ex who is grandpa (Epah as he is called by the kids) and who I have stayed friends with after being divorced about 18 or so years ago.  Then my two daughters and spouses and all four of my grandkids.  Actually my youngest daughter isn't married yet but they are engaged.  When they get married I will get to automatically add two more to my "grandkid" count!

DreamWeaver, I got the impression that I hurt your feelings with kidding around the other night about the whole dancing thing and I want to apologize for that.  Never was my intension.  I thought it was terrifically funny but I think it may have rubbed you the wrong way.  I'm sorry.  Sad

In Christ,
Sister Yvette

Sister you didn't hurt my feelings at all. I was in just to much pain to do much teasing back.
