The cinnamon is Brother Tom's fault. He got me started on it.   Grin Grin

Yeah, that Brother Tom really likes to "stir" it up! haha
Pretty much in Seattle if you want just straight, regular coffee you have to get it at a 7-11, mini mart or something!  And you're sure right about the price.  That's why I get my pot of coffee in at home in the morning!  Grin

Yeah, and there wasn't anything like that within a short walk from the ship.

Yes!  Auburn is very close.  I used to live in Kent which is right next door to Auburn.  Of course now around here it's just one great big place it seems, from Tacoma all the way up to Everett!

Good Morning. I just realized I hadn't stopped in here for a cup of coffee of late. Today I have been busy playing catch-up in posting on the forum and thought by gosh, be sure to stop by here. I enjoyed reading the articles and funny pictures posted and mostly the blessings and praises to our Lord. As most of you know by now, I won my disability case this week and now I can try to make my life a little better in at least being able to pay of lots of medical bills. Many thanks go out to all those who tried to give me support when depression got me down and also for all the prayers that kept me going. Hope you all have a wonderful day in the Lord.

Hello Islandboy,

We will keep you in our prayers, and we would appreciate you keeping us in your prayers. Many of us also have various trials and afflictions. Prayer and fellowship is a wonderful gift that GOD has given us. It's also nice to know that GOD loves to hear our prayers. I know that GOD also wants us to strengthen and encourage each other with HIS WORD. We also have a good time when we get together. The world laughs at us when they find out how how we have a good time (i.e. Bible Study, talking about the LORD, talking about Heaven, and clean fellowship).

As an example, it makes us extremely happy to hear about your answered prayer. GOD still does as HE please in Heaven and on earth. We know that GOD doesn't answer all of our prayers - just they ones that are within HIS Perfect Will for us. GOD is good to us, and HE is worthy of our worship, thanks, and praise.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Ephesians 5:19-20 NASB
speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;

Grin  I've only tried the expensive and fancy coffee twice, just to see what everyone was talking about. I really felt like a fool spending $6 for a cup of coffee, but I did satisfy my curiosity. It was horrible, and they can keep it. I can have coffee any way I like it at home for almost nothing in comparison. I still like the Cinnamon or Hazelnut Coffee-Mate from time to time. By the way, I do STIR the coffee when I put something in it.   Wink   I get the diet variety, but they still have a great flavor. If you see me getting ready to buy a cup of coffee that costs between $6 and $8, please slap me and ask me what I'm doing.   Grin

I would recommend bull-fighting, but that's very dangerous and sometimes fatal. So, recommend sumo-wrestling for you. The worst that could happen is you being tied in a knot and maybe some broken bones.   Grin

AMEN!

Brother, it's sad to know how dangerous this is getting in many parts of the world. It could get dangerous in this part of the world also, so we should always give thanks for our freedoms.

Love In Christ,
Tom

2 Timothy 1:7-12 NASB
For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher. For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

Yes, it is. It is already starting to be dangerous here even though not yet as dangerous as it is other parts of the world. We do need to do the Lord's work and generously so while the opportunities are plentiful.

Ohhh!  Pick me.  Pick me!  I'm one of those "outdoorsy" gals that just loves camping and fishing.  I'll bait my own hook, gut it and fry it up too!

I want to fish for men too, but to say that just doesn't come out right coming from a "single" gal!

Amen to that.  I guess we are seeing more news right now during the upcoming Christmas season of just how much predjudice there is against us.  They are fighting Christian rights, morals and values at every turn.
