You can dunk anything you want in your coffee. That's what parties are all about. Doing wild crazy things that no one else would even consider doing. Dunking cake in coffee  Huh        Just how do you do that??  Lower it in on a spoon.  Huh Huh  Yuck   Roll Eyes Smiley

I'll go for the carrot cake also.

Dunkin cake in the coffee? Wouldn't that be the way you make coffee cake?   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Thanksgiving is in four days. Might order swiss chalet or east side marios because hospital Thanksgiving dinner is a joke.

Mashed potatoes is same as every day of the year
Turkey is same, can get it once or twice a week
Stuffing, stuffing is wet and soggy. I consider this an insult!  Cry

I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but you would think they would take extra time to make a special meal on Thanksgiving.

I dunk Oklahoma style. You simply take the cake with your fingers, dip it in the coffee fr a couple of seconds, remove, eat, and repeat until the cake is gone. Napkins aren't allowed. You wipe your hands on your shirt or jeans when you are finished.   Grin

Hello Brother David,

I haven't spent Thanksgiving in the hospital, but I have spent a Christmas in the hospital, so I know what you mean. I spent 6 months on and off in the hospital, so I know that eating hospital food becomes tiring. It might have something to do with so many diet rules for people with various kinds of stomach or body chemistry problems. That would also apply to the very small amount of spices they use.

Brother, if I lived anywhere near you, I would love to bring you a hot and fresh homemade Thanksgiving meal. In fact, I would love to come visit you if I could. As you know, I live a long distance from you and my own health greatly limits what I can do. The best I can do right now is to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

We will reside with the KING OF KINGS one of these days soon.

In the meantime.............

KEEP LOOKING UP!!

Hello Dreamweaver,

Islandboy already told me that I could dunk, SO I'm going to dunk. AND, nothing was said about the dunking method or any noises made while dunking. In other words, slurping is also allowed. Brother Bob, if there's pie present and you give me trouble, there just might be PIE FIGHT!    Grin

Back to a serious note for a moment:  Brother David, there are many of us who aren't going to get well in this life, and I'm one of them. I look forward to the Promise of GOD that HE will give HIS Children a Glorified Body like the one JESUS CHRIST has at HIS Appointed time. It won't be flesh and blood because GOD has told us that flesh and blood can't inherit the things of Heaven that await us. Now I think about the beautiful verse you have posted in your signature area, and it's 100% TRUE! Our trials in this short life won't be anything in comparison to the JOYS of ETERNITY with JESUS CHRIST.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Amen Brother! I know it is only a heart beat here compared to our real home. There is so much I am going to do when I go home.

Praise the Lord for he is great.
Have a great Son Day
