I remember watching, what I thought was a movie. I turned on the TV late, for me. Till that infamous slip of the tongue, when the newsman started cussing on air. I still remember those words today. The camera man focused on another plane. Then I saw the 2nd plane hit the other tower, and flames exploding out the other side. When I saw thew 1st tower start to fall, I prayed for those still alive in both towers. Then cause I got up late, I when outside to raise my American Flag and prayed to God help those in need right now. U will never forget that day either. I was sitting in my Neurologist's office watching Fox News and I saw the first plane hit the tower and then the second plane and by then I was a mess because my nephew worked nearby and so my cousin's wife worked in the second tower to get hit. when I saw that tower come down I fell apart. On my way home all I could do was cry. and try to contact my family members, the only on missing was my cousin's wife she died in the first tower. |

Sister Maria, I'm very sorry to hear about the loss in your family. That was a horrible day for many thousands of innocent people from all over the world. I hope and pray that we won't have anything like that again, but I must be honest and say that I fear it's a sign of things to come for the entire world. Hello to everyone. I was off visiting another forum and chat for a few days. Tried to fit in, but they talk way to fast on chat and these old fingers couldn't keep up. And those letters and short words, what is that all about. This site is the best place to come and relax and drink coffee, and fellowship. Thanks to all of you for making this site special.

All those short words is because they couldn't keep up while using spellcheck either.  I tried one of those chat rooms also but couldn't handle learning another new language. |

Yeah RIGHT!!!!! once a cop always a cop, now I know you are hiding some of those doughnuts BEP's ........you either better eat them fast or hand them over before your wife finds you with them. DOH!!
I have my high fiber health food and black coffee - AND, I'm sticking with that story. The only time I eat donuts is when the grandkids are with me, and I'll have to admit that they did hold me down and make me eat one the last time we were together. I begged them for "Melba Toast", but they made me eat "Crispy Creme" donuts. In fact, I think they made me eat 3 or 4 of them. By the way, you can dunk the Melba Toast in coffee, and they aren't bad at all. |
