Greetings Brothers & Sisters. It has been a long week, what with weed clearing and mowing, trips to town and doctor visits, and cutting down dead trees and cleaning up, I am plumb worn out. Just stopped in to say hello and wish you all a pleasent evening. Hope to stop by and visit and fellowship tommarrow.
The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me------a prayer to the God of my life. --

Good morning all.
Yes it does look like fall is coming soon. Not only are the temps starting to lower (60's for a high this coming Friday here) but I have noticed that some trees are already starting to turn and to shed some of their leaves.

Hee hee, i'm glad it's becoming fall. Ooh, Fort Leanord-wood is fun from what I hear, i saw the National Guard boys in this weekend, and i accidentally laughed at them because they were unkept and I had my air force shirt on. How funny.

Some of that cooler air would feel good about now. Florida is still hot and humid and muggy. We have been having a few hot days with no rain, good work weather but we need more rain.
To late in the warning not to overdo. Every muscle in my body hurts. I only go out for one half hour a day, but I feel like I have worked non-stop for eight hours straight. Old age and disabilites are my down side. But I need to exercise so I plug along pulling them darn weeds. We have help in doing the heavy work and clean-up.
The Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. Psalm 47:2

I'm glad that was an accident ... it's not nice to laugh at our boys.  I know what you mean though. I'm sure that I'm going to laugh when I see how short my sons hair is now and how sharp his uniform will be. Quite a change from the longer hair and baggy clothes he has normally worn. |

I'm glad to hear that you at least have help for heavy work. We wouldn't want you getting down from it all. |

I am very sad because even though my friend accepted Jesus as her savior, she does and believes in wrong doctrines. I wonder if she is really saved. It is hard because I love her  |

Brother David, Only God knows her heart for sure but I do understand your concern. It is always a sad thing when it appears that our loved ones are headed down the wrong path. It is for this reason that we need to continue in prayer for them and for ourselves in asking God for the right words to say and we ourselves must strive to stay in the word of God.

Thats okay though, I've laughed at the Air Force. But I still respect them, and pray for all serving armed forces members. |
