GOODAY MATES!

For a change, I thought that I would give everyone an Australian greeting, and it handles the entire day - morning and evening.

Love In Christ,
Tom

O'top of thee day to ye

Well theres your tipical Scottish greeting for the day, like the Aussie greeting it takes care of the day. Grin Grin

Now is a good time to mention that I pray for our Armed Forces every day, and I will for the rest of my life. I sincerely appreciate their service and pray that GOD will watch over them every minute of every day. They keep us safe, and they preserve our freedoms and way of life. These are precious things that a value can't be placed on, and they include our freedom to Worship GOD. I will never take for granted a single drop of sweat or blood, and I will thank GOD for your service.

Love In Christ,
Tom

The Armed forces are in my prayers every day to brother.  Without the men, and women, who serve we would be a country in trouble.

Hello Dreamweaver,

Brother Bob, that's a beautiful gif of the flag and eagle, and I had to save it for my collection. That must be a new one. I'm just wondering if you made it. Regardless, thanks - I like it!

Thanks for the Australian greeting, Tom.  It is always interesting to hear things in new and different ways. Had a good morning in Church. Our Pastor preached on the condition of our world and how it is mostly everyones fault that things have gotten as bad as they are. He spoke about how we are and have been too tolerant of evil things. We brush it off, and continue to allow it to happen. And as to how often we stand up for the ways and truth of God. And mostly how often we don't. It gave us allot to think about and to start by repentance and getting busy in the Lord. My first stop was to be on my knees in prayer and my second step was stopping by here to continue to read, and share in fellowship with those who love the Lord.

Hello Islandboy,

Brother, I know that all Christians should have tried harder and more often over the last five or more decades to preserve our ways in the LORD. I know that I would do things differently if I could go back and have a second chance, but those times are gone.

Brother, there are two primary ways to look at the turning away from GOD that I want to mention:  1) Christians failed - should have tried harder - and should have devoted much more time, dedication, and energy into preserving the things of GOD. This will always be TRUE regardless of any other reason;  2) This could be a preview of the End Days of this Age of Grace OR an actual unfolding of Bible Prophecy right before our eyes. GOD told us in Bible Prophecy that these things would happen in and near the End Days.

I'm not saying that these are the end days of this Age of Grace, but it's looking more and more like they are every day. If so, our time is short to witness to family, friends, and neighbors, so we should put the convictions on our heart off. Regardless of the days, these things are too important to put off. Regardless, the highest priority in our life should be JESUS CHRIST every day. At best, this life is short and uncertain, so tomorrow might be too late to do the things that we know we should be doing. In fact, JESUS CHRIST could come and catch up HIS CHURCH today!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Good morning all. I'll be headin out in about an hour or so to get the rest of my son's thing packed up and into storage and to see him off to boot camp.

In the meantime I think the coffee is ready and I need to get a cup.

Good Morning Brothers and Sisters!

I've been up and working since 0400, but I haven't said good morning yet. I have had some coffee, but I'm off to get some more. I got some of my "to-do" list done, but it doesn't look like it shrunk very much.   Wink   In fact, it seems like I add 2 things to my list while I finish 1, so I'm going backward. I think that I need to prioritize my list again and start over, but JESUS might come for us before I finish it. YES - I'm serious! - AND this makes me happy!

Brothers and Sisters, I was just thinking that I would really like to be doing something productive for GOD when JESUS comes. More and more, I am thinking that I will live long enough to still be alive when JESUS catches HIS CHURCH up to meet HIM in the clouds. Can you think of anything more beautiful than this? I can't, and I was just thinking how MUCH I look forward to seeing JESUS and leaving this evil world behind.

Love In Christ,
Tom
