It is past seven o'clock at night and I finally remembered to stop by and say good evening to everyone. It has been a long day, and the weekend is ahead. Hope to get more done this weekend, but I think we are due to get more rain.  Cheesy Cheesy Smiley Smiley Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Good Morning all. Another beautiful, wonderful day in the Lord!

I'm enjoying my coffee this morning with the cooler temps, the a/c off and the windows open. I'm looking forward to a family get together and cookout today. My youngest son goes off to Army boot camp this coming week so I am going to spend some very wonderful quality time with him and the family today.

I pray that all of you will also have a wonderful day in the Lord.

Oh Brother Roger, family picnics are so much fun. I know you are looking forward to spending as much time with your son as possible.

Make sure you tell him how proud I am of him, and maybe who knows he might even get to meet my grandson William someday. My prayers are with him and of course you and all your family. I know it is hard to see a loved one go away for a little while. I am keeping you in my prayers.

GOODAY MATES!

For a change, I thought that I would give everyone an Australian greeting, and it handles the entire day - morning and evening.

Now is a good time to mention that I pray for our Armed Forces every day, and I will for the rest of my life. I sincerely appreciate their service and pray that GOD will watch over them every minute of every day. They keep us safe, and they preserve our freedoms and way of life. These are precious things that a value can't be placed on, and they include our freedom to Worship GOD. I will never take for granted a single drop of sweat or blood, and I will thank GOD for your service.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Sister Def,

You just spoke volumes, and you addressed something very important in all of our lives. "May we make good use of it and live under GOD." As Christians, we are supposed to be good stewards of everything GOD gives us. Every Christian should think about not wasting the "Freedom" that GOD has given to us, especially in the area of sharing JESUS CHRIST and the CROSS. We can do that today on Christians Unite and many other places, but what happens if this "Freedom" is removed or forfeited tomorrow? Will we look back and wish that we had appreciated our "Freedom" more and not wasted our "Freedom" while we had it?

I firmly believe that the "Freedoms" of Christians will be slowly or quickly removed in the future. We just don't fit into the mainstream, and the devil hates to hear us. The devil wants to silence us, and there's a growing number of people who hate Christians and want us to shut-up. On the other side of the coin, there are still people accepting JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOUR, and some of them used to be harsh adversaries of CHRIST.

We need to remember the life of the Apostle Paul. For most of Paul's life, he hated, persecuted, and killed Christians. BUT, Paul was completely changed with JESUS CHRIST, and Paul used the rest of his life to serve GOD through every difficulty - even unto death. Paul served in many places where he didn't have the freedom to do so, and he eventually gave his life instead of stopping.

Love In Christ,
Tom
