Good Afternoon. It is a beautiful day the Lord has made. We had a nice service at church today and now I am looking forward to relaxing a bit. Best place to come for coffee and good fellowship in the forum. Now where did I put my coffee cup?

Hello Everyone!
YES - I am sitting here sipping some fresh coffee with cinnamon in it.
We have a few places in our city now where they water is finally going down, but we are still getting high probabilities for heavy rains. We've just been fortunate the last couple of days and didn't get it. Whole subdivisions of homes are still under 2 to 4 feet of water, and many people haven't been able to go home yet. Cleanup is going to be a mess, and sadly, many people didn't have flood insurance. We don't have flood insurance either, but our housing division is up high. The worst we've ever had is 3 to 4 inches of water in the house, and that was only because of flash-flooding and water rushing to lower ground through our division. FEMA is going to have some low-interest loans to help some of the folks, but I really doubt that some of the areas will be built back. This is just another reason for us to count our blessings and give thanks. We'll have to wait quite some time to repair our damages because of the huge number of people with massive work to get done. We'll do fine, but we really need a new roof now, so we'll just get in line and wait.

Gee Tom I am so sorry to hear about your misfortune with the waters the only thing i can do is pray prayers of thanksgiving to God in Jesus name for the miracle he is going to do for you ask for something and you will get it if it is in His will,, please dint think i am silly cause i know my God and nothing is impossible to Him ,a peaceful heart is all that count.well I better stop while i am ahead..OK OK.love in Jesus.Def |
