Hello Brothers and Sisters,

I've been absent for a few days with all kinds of problems, but I really don't mean to complain. I am having a cup of coffee and thinking about a huge list of "to dos". Some of them will just have to wait.   Wink

We had a great 4th of July, but everyone got sick, including all three grandsons. The doctor said that the boys, including the baby, had a virus. I don't know, but most of the adults got something too. Nearly everyone is on the mend.

Cough!  Cough! -   Grin  I don't think this is catching over the Internet, even though the doctor did call it a virus.

Love In Christ,
Tom

This has been a long weekend of trying to get things done. Pay bills, work on the boat and general running around. Glad to have time to sit down with coffee in hand and say "Howdy" to everyone.

Howdy

The coffee is good today in a nice a/c space. The heat has arrived here today. A nice warm 95 degrees.

Monday morning. Just another hot humid day in the South. Good morning to all. When it's this hot I get a craving for ice cream and or ice cold watermelon. Not a bad idea. Off to the store I go.

It is really hot and humid even up here. I would go to the store for some watermelon or ice cream but it's too hot for me to step out the door. I think that I'll try staying here in the a/c.

I got me watermelon and a few boxes of ice cream, now I am all set to stay home for the next week. I don't like going out in hot weather either, but it is better to get some sun then be out in a rainstorm. That's Florida, either too hot and humid or pouring down rain.

I used to enjoy going out in the heat. I ran 10 K's, marathons, hiking, horseback riding and baling hay in 90+ temps  and worked in a shop that would be in excess of 200 degrees at times. Unfortunately now if I go out in temps over 85 I end up sick in bed or worse so I choose to stay in the a/c at such times. I love the outdoors and do get out whenever I can.
