We've had nothing but sunshine today here and hot temps. Everything dried up enough that the yard finally got mowed. I think that we are going to have a cook out tomorrow as it's supposed to be nice again.

BUT, you should remember that a higher standard for manners is required for tea. As examples:  dunking donuts and slurping noises aren't allowed.   Grin

Hello. We just had thunderstorm roll through with lots of lightening and rain. Our boat battery was dead so we had to bail the boat out. Now the grass can grow another foot or so.
I like the chocolate easter bunny monster. Don't know where y'all find these critters, but I enjoy the laughter they bring me when I visit.
We are still waiting for the rain here, in Arizona. Undecided  It did get hot here today, 104 degrees. Cry

Hi brother. I see you're a late nighter tonight also. We have some storms coming in tonight and we're supposed to be getting them all day tomorrow so it looks like all the celebrating for the 4th is going to be done inside in this area.

Happy 4th of July weekend.
In addition to relaxing in front of the computer, with coffee in hand, this is also a day to get chores caught up from my week off sick days. The honey-do-list is never ending. Got part of the lawn mowed before the rains came again. Now it's just indoor chores to contend with.
But we will take time to give thanks and prayers for liberty and freedom, and to thank all those brave men and women in uniform that are risking their lives to keep freedom ringing in the ears of us here at home and to those abroad.

Good morning, Brothers and Sisters!  I just put on a fresh pot of coffee for all to enjoy.

I had a wonderful 4th of July with family and friends.  I'm so proud of myself for not overeating.  Grin  It was a low humidity day with nice breezes and no rain.  I couldn't have asked for more.

I thank the Lord for allowing me to spend another holiday with my family.  Blessings to all!

Amen! and a Good morning to all.

It was a wonderful time with the family for me also. The end of the day my wife and I sat in the front yard and watched the fireworks while the rest went down the street to get a little closer look. It was a great time. The rain we were supposed to get went completely around us giving us a nice day to enjoy outside.

Good afternoon. Had a nice relaxing day on the 4th, and today as well. We had hard downpour of rain both yesterday afternoon, and today that has kept outdoor activities at bay. This means more time on the computer visiting this great forum. Best wishes to everyone. May your day be filled with hope, love, and the grace of our Lord.

Good morning!

Thank you sister for both. The heat is just now starting to enter this area. It's only 74 right now with an expected 88 for the day but the mid 90's are supposed to be here in the next few days. That is still mild compared to those that are experiencing triple digit temps. That hasn't happened here yet this year. I'll be staying in the a/c if and when it does.
