 If you had gotten here earlier, you might have caught a worm.

My grand daughter shared some worms with me last night. I couldn't eat just one of those. (I'm glad they were gummy worms, though.) I have my coffee, the sun is shining. Good morning all. It's another beautiful day in the Lord!

Good evening, brother. Yes I have seen the rain that you have been getting. I also see that it's coming up my way for the last few days.

I just watched a weather forecast, and they tried to explain what's happening in this part of the country. It appears to be a very large storm system that is just sitting in one place - right on top of us. It did move some to the North, but it is expected to move back to the South. Oklahoma City was flooded with the heaviest part of the storm, and that was right on top of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma just a few days ago. Now we are supposed to get it back. BOO!
I've seen all kinds of rough weather during my life, but I don't think that I've ever seen anything like this. It has the capability to spawn tornadoes, but they don't expect it to do anything more than 60 to 80 mph winds. The pattern of it moving slowly or not at all is expected to continue, so many of us might yet be under water.

It extends up north to us just in the evening and through the night. Tonight will make the thrid night it has done this. It has caused some minor flooding in some areas up here but nothing like Texas and Oklahoma. I have seen the sort of weather that Texas and Oklahoma are getting right now before but it was centered over Illinois, Iowa and Missouri.

I dragged myself to the computer to wish you all a Good Morning. I hope that all of you that live in or near the States where this storms are moving through, have suffered no wind damage and are not setting in your livingroom's in a rowboat. The news stories last night were filled with pictures of rivers over flowing their banks and running swift. My prayers are with those in harms way that the Lord watch over them and guide them during these difficult days. I am feeling a bit better thou very tired and weak. It is a effort just using the mouse, but the clicking noise of the keyboard keeps me awake. I'm have a cup of hot tea this morning, but you all enjoy your coffee.

Good morning islandboy. I know how difficult it is on some mornings to just be able to get out of bed. This is one of those mornings for me. My prayers are with you in this.
It is another beautiful day with and for Jesus!

Hello Islandboy,
We appreciate your prayers. So far, the flooding here has been minor, but we do have quite a few repairs to do. Some of the folks fairly close to us have had a really rough time and quite a few have died. I don't know what the total figures are, but 11 have died in North Texas alone. Some areas are still under water, so I don't think they know how many people have died yet. AND, the storms are still with us, but the intensity doesn't appear to be as great. I hope and pray this is true.
We're also praying for you and hoping that you are recovering some from the food poisoning. Please use extra caution and see the doctor again if you don't start feeling better soon.
Love In Christ, Tom
Hebrews 10:19-23 NASB Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
