Hi def,

I am sorry to hear that happened to you. At least you have planted a seed in those people and God will bless you for that. You won't be rejected here. You are amongst many wonderful Christian brothers and sisters that I am sure will be glad to join with you and for you in prayer. Keep strong in the Lord, sister.

There are a number of us here that are handicapped in one manner or another. Although I am not bound to a chair just yet, I am one of those. I do need to use a wheel chair once in a while, just not all of the time. If I may ask, why are you in a wheel chair?

Pasto Roger Hi!Ok have  a coffe to that, today as you know i left to exercise my dog  you see I am in a wheel chair so i sometime go to the mountain and there is a big cross ,there about 15 stories hight at the top , and i sometime go to the top to pray at the bottom of the cross, and the juggers pass by..so i ask a couple of joggers the time,ok so they give me the time 10-10  and i reply thank you do you have the time to say the Lord`s prayer with me,answer no,no we are late.ok thank you byebye..here come a other i ask for the time again  and for the prayer same answer.. then came 4-5 kids 14 -16 years old i ask for the time again, i say thank you, I ask them if they have the time for a prayer ,no no no we dont do religion ,and they left me there laughing on there way, so i roll around to them and i toll them gently that it was not religion ,that it was love,so i kept rolling for about one minutes when i saw a mature couple ,and wanted to tell them what has happen i just could understand the rejection so clear..so the gent look at me I am in a wheel chair with a dog  on top of a mountain, so he move to leave butthe lady  said ILL pray with you. so I said the Lord`s prayer she dint speak words cause she did not know the words she told me in the language (french) I blessed her in Jesus name she left, i wept...well all this to tell you  i realy dont know why I did that ..One rejection would have been enough(no) but i kept going, only God know why ..boy did I feel the rejection i felt like Jesus in front of pilote ..well have a good coffe..I am going go cry now ...love in Jesus..thank you for your time Pastor Roger.

Hello Def,

Sister, I know that it's hard for Christians to stop worrying about rejection, but we should. We belong to JESUS CHRIST, and that's the greatest acceptance there is. Many people make fun of Christians, and that's sad for them. We have JESUS CHRIST and we should keep trying to help lost people. It doesn't matter if they make fun of us, but it does matter that they don't have JESUS.

Sister, just keep trying to share JESUS CHRIST with others.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Isaiah 12:2-3 NASB  "Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation." Therefore you will joyously draw water From the springs of salvation.

def, I just wanted to say congratulations on being so brave!  I think one of the hardest things about approaching this lost and dying world is that we have to love them more than we love ourselves.
Rejection?  Very real.  But being willing to endure that affliction makes the avenue open to saving even one soul from an eternity in Hell.  NO, we do not save them, but we can be used by God to make them aware of the opportunity to be saved from their sins.
Blessings to you, Sister!

Just wanted to let ya'll know I'm staring at the bottom of an empty coffee cup..................

And, I was just wondering why the PM option does not work.  From someone's response on a post, I get the impression it did work at one point.
Am I being too nosy asking about it?

Sounds like it's time for a refill.

The PM option had to be discontinued due to people coming here with the sole intent of abusing it. Unfortunately in order to stop them it has caused an inconvenience for regular members. It was a decision that was made after a long period of continued abuse.

Thanks for the refill, and I'm sorry to hear about the message abuse.  It would be nice to be able to use that option, but I agree that protection for the innocent is of utmost importance.
