Today is the "official" first day of spring. Spring is commonly recognized as the renewal of growth. Grass starts sprouting back up, flowers start coming out, trees start gaining their leaves. It is also a good time to reflect on the wondrous works of the Lord and His mercy in renewal of our spirits.

Psa 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

May the good Lord bless you all.

AMEN Sister Maria,

I celebrate JESUS every day. It's a wonderful thought to know that every day belongs to HIM. So, this is another wonderful day that the LORD has made - let us be glad and rejoice in it.

Love In Christ,
Tom

I've been doing some research, and I think that I really need several billion dollars to continue my research. So far, I have absolute proof of several facts that will astound the Al Gore global warming fanatics. Here we go:

1 - We get light and heat primarily from the sun.

2 - The sun gives off light and heat because of solar storms and solar flares.

3 - The sun comes up in the morning and goes down at night because the earth revolves. Thus, different parts of the earth get heat and light depending on the orientation of that part of the earth with the sun at that specific time.

4 - The sun is in a constant state of change, and mankind on earth has no control over the sun at all - NONE! The sun has trends of having MORE solar storms and MORE solar flares that mankind has no control over. Here's the GIANT SECRET - MORE solar storms and MORE solar flares will always result in MORE heat and MORE light being distributed to the earth. The people of earth have experienced several trends of increased solar activity in recent years, and ANY up or down solar activity has a dramatic influence on the earth. Decreased solar activity results in cooling, and increased solar activity result in heating. AL GORE has no control over solar activity and he never will, regardless of how much money is spent.

5 - This is what the younger generation calls a 'NO-BRAINER"! Just a tiny amount of common sense is all that is required. GOD is in charge of the sun. Mankind will freeze to death if solar activity reduces too greatly, and the opposite is true if solar activity increases too greatly.

6 - I'm only offering one or two more amazing facts FREE, and they will have to give me billions of dollars in research money to give out any further information:  a) our sun will always have dramatic effects on the earth that are beyond the control of mankind;  b) the only way to escape from the impact of our sun is to leave this part of the universe.

Citizens if you wish to donate to a cause that makes much more sense than Al Gore's Global Warming crowd, send your generous donation to:

FiremenToTheSun.org

Huge quantities of firefighting equipment will be required.

Here's another laugh for you along that line of thought. A group of scientists have come to that conclusion also. They want to set up large mirrors based on satellites situated just right to reflect the sun's energy away from earth  .....   more wasted money.

Here is the global warming that they have coming that they need to be concerned about   ......

Rev 8:7  The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

I think it's time for Al Gore to read his Bible (if he has one) and (if he learned how to read)

Ge 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease

There goes his theory about global warming, and anyone who wants to believe him or joins his bandwagon ought to read this also.

After all if their theory were to be true, what could they possibly do to prevent it?

I have no doubts that the earth is warming up but it has done this before. As Brother Tom pointed out and so has many scientists, the sun goes through cycles of generating more heat and then less heat. Maybe they can come up with a thermostat control for the sun??  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Reading the Bible these days seems to be one of convenience ....  pick and choose what you wish to believe based on your own desires.

i agree, reading the bible daily gives us a warm heart, global warming, yeah we are warming up, but as previous stated this all has happened before.  that is what we need warm hearts to deal with each situation that comes up in our lives. and only with god's help can we do this.

god bless you all this spring and as we come up on resurrection sunday may you have a great day while we celebrate his resurrection.

I would have said GOOD MORNING earlier, but my morning really started last night about 2 hours before midnight. In reflection, I guess that I could have said GOOD EVENING AND GOOD MORNING at the same time.   Wink

Regardless, GOOD MORNING! For those of you who do shift work and are about to go to bed, GOOD EVENING!

Sister Maria,

I did shift work for 25 years, and it really didn't matter to me. Old habits are hard to break and I still sleep whenever my body tells me to. The sun being up or not really doesn't make a difference. People with normal jobs find this hard to understand.

Right now, I know that I'm completely correct in saying GOOD MORNING!

The coffee is great, and

It's another wonderful day that the LORD has made - let us be glad and rejoice in it.
