I don't like all dark chocolates. Many are bitter but I do like it if it is mildly sweet.

My doctor has actually told me to drink all the coffee that I want to, so I do. ;D
BUT, he doesn't want me to load it up with sugar, carbs, and calories, so I use cinnamon coffee-mate when I get the urge for some extra flavor. It actually tastes pretty good for ZERO carbs and calories.
I wanted to mention something as a matter of prayer today. Large portions of my part of the country have electricity going on and off because of a HUGE ice storm. Our electricity has gone off for fairly short periods of time, but many people are without electricity for long periods of time. We are due for another half inch of ice tonight, so things might get worse. For those of you who might not know, many people will probably die without electricity, so I'm asking everyone to join me in prayer. The elderly and ill are usually the first victims.
I haven't watched the news today yet, but I think that a pretty large portion of the mid-section of the country is being hit with one of the worst ice storms in many years. We are iced in completely in Oklahoma, and we couldn't go anywhere if we wanted to without cleated chains for the tires. We don't have any cleated chains, so we are stuck, and I think that millions of people are in the same boat. So please pray that GOD watches over all of us.
Love In Christ, Tom
Galatians 6:9-10 NASB Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

Amen brother. We have gotten some ice as far north as I am but it is nothing like where you are yet. Most of it so far is from St Louis and further south but it is expected to worsen here starting tonight also.
My prayers are definitely with all those that are effected by this storm.

Brother Roger and everyone, thanks for the prayers. I'm trying now to find out how many states are currently under ice, but I'm sure that will grow by morning. I was just chuckling some about my poor little 15 year old dog. He tries so hard to be a good boy and go outside. He got stuck the last time we let him out, and we had to go rescue him. The poor little old man couldn't get any traction or go anywhere. He's gotten wise now and goes just beyond the edge of the back patio. He barks and growls when the electricity goes out, so we have to hold and comfort the old man. He also has very short hair, and he doesn't appreciate getting cold.

I can understand that. The last ice/snow storm we had the snow was higher than he is tall. He couldn't get off the sidewalk after it was shoveled off and even the sidewalk was up to his stomach in snow again. He is so small and hair so thin that he gets cold just looking out the window at it.
Our bathroom has tile floor that we keep a healthy protection of wax on it. We get some of those doggy training pads we put down in there for him when the weather gets bad like that because he can't get out and he will get sick from not going otherwise.

I wish that I had thought about the training pads. We just put some newspapers down near the back door and stopped trying to encourage him to go out. I just went to check on our poor little old man. He's curled up in a blanket in my wife's lap and being petted. So, he's comfortable and happy right now. We don't mind spoiling him some. He's been a faithful little friend for going on 16 years now. There's a beautiful contrast here. JESUS is our faithful friend, LORD, and Saviour forever! HE will never fail or forsake us.Brothers and Sisters, I sincerely appreciate your prayers, and I know that millions of other people also appreciate your prayers. Much worse weather is yet to come, and I understand that 6 people are already known to have died. I'm not sure that I understand all the weather forecasts, but they are also talking about the possibility of tornadoes along with the ice storms. At present, most of Oklahoma appears to have gotten the worst of this storm, but portions of many states in this area also have problems, and it is expected that much larger areas will be effected by morning. Portions of Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois were also mentioned in the weather news as being hit pretty hard. Tons of electric lines are down near to where I live, so I really don't understand why our electricity is still on most of the time. I'll just give thanks. Love in Christ, Tom Luke 12:28-31 NASB "But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith! "And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. "For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. "But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you.
