In my coffee pot.  Cheesy

Well it's not on the forum brother.

Grin   Grin   Grin

I like it - a Java New Year.

I might just go wild and have a donut with my coffee.   Grin

I feel quite sure that my wife and I will stay in, away from the drunks, and enjoy a quiet New Year together. It's very sad to know that our young men and women are safer in Iraq than they would be on our streets. Drunk and doped up drivers kill over 20,000 people per year on our streets and highways, so this should serve as an example of the moral state of our society. The devil is a busy little boy.

I'll be staying at home, as well brother.  Lizzie and I will watch TV, to see the ball drop in New York.  Grin There are just to many fools out there today. They think they are great drivers when they are drunk.  Cry   Then it will be off to bed, for us. Cheesy

Just thought I would check in for a few minutes.  I have a meeting about to start in 5 minutes.  Undecided

But I am and it's with me.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Yes, my wife and I are staying home tonight also. I've already had all the donuts I can for the day so I think that it will just be some coffee for me.

 Grin   Grin   Grin   ROFL!

But how long has that cider been making under the porch?

Just kidding. My wife and I many times like to make hot apple cider during the winter and steep it with a spice bag in it.  I'm not sure how many spices are in what we use, but you can buy it at most grocery stores, and it nearly always has cinnamon, peppermint, and other spices that fill the house with wonderful aromas. I must add that the taste is wonderful, and it should be completely legal for folks on a diet. We even have a kettle made specifically for hot, spiced apple cider. If you haven't ever tried it, I highly recommend it.

I have quite a bit, as I get spiced cider from Farmers Bro's.  One of the members of my flock works for Farmers Bro's.  It is alot better, then what yo would get in the store. Grin Grin Grin

Well I'm heading on out the door, coffee in hand. Grin Grin

Good Morning, All!

It is another beautiful day in the Lord! We have much to be joyful in and thankful for. Spread the good news that others may share in the joy of the Lord.

Pro 17:22  A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Pro 12:25  Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

Psa 35:9  And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

Neh 8:10  ...  for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Mar 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

YES, we all have much to give thanks for. Our blessings are really too numerous to remember when we try to list them.

Matthew 25:35-40  NASB  'For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.' "Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 'And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 'When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' "The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.'

I like to think about the portion of Scripture above on a regular basis. It's a good reminder about how we should care about and be kind to others. We really don't know how much even small acts of kindness are appreciated until we are on the receiving end. It could be as simple as a kind word, a smile, or greeting someone you don't even know.

We must not forget that there are many people who lack the necessities of life, even in our own country. I honestly think that far too many people live in their own little worlds and don't look outside often enough to know about the needs of others. We live in a rich country where there should never be any children going to bed hungry, sleeping on the street, or lacking appropriate clothing and medical care. These should be areas of care and prayer for all Christians. I must add that it's a wonderful feeling to be able to help someone who is less fortunate.

Ephesians 2:19-22 NASB  So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

I also like to think about this portion of Scripture on a regular basis. It tells us about who we are in CHRIST and explains the reality of our huge family in CHRIST. There are no denominations or divisions in CHRIST, as we are all Brothers and Sisters who will spend eternity together with JESUS. CHRIST Himself will fit us together in ONE BODY, the ETERNAL CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST. This should be more than enough to make all Christians rejoice and give thanks every day.

Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!, JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour forever!

Hello Pizza_Mahal,

We missed you and thought you might be on a vacation or trip somewhere. Many people are at this time of the year. Regardless, we're glad to have you back, and I'm happy that your computer is working again.

I just got my coffee. I'm on a diet, so I'm using some cinnamon, and it tastes pretty good on a cold winter morning.

GOOD MORNING

EVERYONE!

HAPPY 2007!

For Christians, I know that every day will be happy if we place CHRIST as the head over our lives and try to live one day at a time for HIM.

Good Morning, Y'all!!

It is another beautiful day in the Lord!!  We have much to be joyful in and thankful for.  Spread the good news that others may share in the joy of the Lord today!

1 Chronicles 16:27 Honor and majesty are [found] in His presence; strength and joy are [found] in His sanctuary.

1 Chronicles 16:33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out for joy before the Lord, for He comes to judge and govern the earth.

Ezra 6:16 And the Israelites--the priests, the Levites, and the rest of the returned exiles--celebrated the dedication of this house of God with joy.

Lets see, I'm drinking coffee, giving praise to God everyday, and I'm happy.................. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

GOOD MORNING BROTHER BOB AND EVERYONE!

I don't have my coffee yet, but I'm only minutes away. YES, I'm going to go wild this morning and put some cinnamon in it. That's about as wild as I get these days.   Grin

I was just laughing and realizing what some of the younger readers might be thinking. WOW! - he thinks it's wild to put cinnamon in your coffee.

Romans 11:33 NASB  Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
