Brothers and Sisters,

I hope and pray that everyone had as nice a Thanksgiving as I did. We had 4 generations of fellowship and fun. We did have coffee, but they refused to make any coffee turkey or coffee dressing. I guess I'll have to try again next year.   Cheesy   We got through everything and only had one minor injury with the 3 year old. For whatever reason, he tried to knock a wooden fence down with his head.   Cheesy   The fence won. He was up running just as fast about 5 minutes later.

YES - I did eat too much. I started trying to watch some football, but grandpa fell asleep. I'm sure that they talked about me, but I don't care.   Grin

The 3 yr old sounds like my son when he was that age.  Grin Grin

and yes this grandpa also fell asleep. Grandma had to bring me home and put me to bed for awhile.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

I hope that everyone survived eating all of that turkey and the trimmings. YES - we ate the whole thing.   Grin  In reflection, I really don't think they intended each person to eat an entire turkey. So, it's time to turn on the exercise channel and work it off.   Grin

Just think - coffee doesn't have any calories or carbs unless you put a bunch of sugar or other stuff in it. SO, go on a coffee diet.   Grin   On top of everything else, the doctors now say that it's good for you. SO, put the pot on and drink up.

lol ...  I think I need that coffee diet for the next two weeks. We had two turkeys about 12 lbs each and both of them are gone.

Here, we had a 19 lb turkey, and a 12 lb ham.  There were no left-overs, course there were also 10 people here eating dinner.  As for the coffee diet......... I always drink coffee. Grin Grin

I can't even guess, but there's a reason why we had it on a small farm. We planned for 29 and stopped counting over 30. Two large harvest tables were set up outside and we used just about every place that one could sit down. Grandparents and great-grandparents were allowed to eat in the living room, and I fit in that group.   Grin

We even had two stray dogs come by and join the group.   Grin

It was a wonderful time in the LORD.

Hello Sister Tina,

It's odd that you offered because I just got a fresh cup of coffee. I'm glad that we are inside and warm. We will be happy if the electricity stays on and the heater keeps working. We have plenty of food and everything we need already in the house, so we don't plan to go anywhere until things get much better.

The sun is out here, but the temperature is still 18 degrees. So far today, we haven't had anymore ice or snow fall, so the road crews might be able to get the streets in fairly good shape by tomorrow. Right now we would need ice skates to go anywhere.   Cheesy

I would just tell anyone living in the states covered by ice to stay in and not go anywhere unless you have to. Please be very careful if you MUST go out and drive.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Psalms 1:1-3 NASB  How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

Hello Rookie,

It would depend on how big that one cup was.   Cheesy

Was it a cup or do you drink coffee out of a pitcher?

I have a rather large and insulated cup to keep the coffee hot. Besides, the doctors now say that coffee is good for you, so I try to keep the doctor happy.   Grin

Good Morning everyone!

I think that I'm the first to have coffee considering that I had my first cup of coffee yesterday at 10:00 P.M.

If someone beat me to the first cup, just humor me and let me think I had the first cup of coffee.   Wink  I had my second cup of coffee just after midnight, and I'm going to go get another one right now. Did I tell you that my coffee cup is really a pitcher?   Shocked
