I think that we are having our "Indian Summer". (Is it pc to use that term?   Shocked Cheesy   )

It has been real warm the last few days here. It's supposed to get up to 71 today! Tomorrow though it is supposed to drop back down to a warm 29 degrees.   Cheesy

I have the coffee and hot chocolate both ready for that.   Grin Grin Grin

I might even have some hot sweet cider with a touch of cinnamon.

For whatever reason, we are also having some very mild weather in the 60's with a light breeze and very pleasant.

You made me remember something the kids used to love to do near the holidays when you talked about hot, sweet cider. We actually have a small electric kettle designed specifically for cider, and we used to buy small spice packages that you could use like a teabag. I know that the spice package contained cinnamon, peppermint, and several other ingredients that had a wonderful aroma that filled the entire house. Now I'm going to need to see if we still have it and put it back in use. The hot, spiced apple cider was just as good as it smelled, and it was a healthy treat for the kids.

By the way - HAPPY MONDAY!

Dreamweaver,

Brother, would that be record high or low temperatures?

I haven't been keeping up much with the weather lately. It's still pretty mild and pleasant here, and I'm really wondering if we will have much of a winter. There's pros and cons to not having a real winter. The farmers where I live say there are some very negative things to deal with when there isn't a sufficient freeze to handle some insect problems and others problems that are normally handled by nature. The worst problem is a late freeze when they have planted their crops already, and that happens pretty often here. All I can say is a farmer here has a really hard time making a living.

Speaking of coffee and back on the topic, I drink hot coffee year around, even when it's 110 + degrees outside.

Love In Christ,
Tom
