Wow Thank PR, those pictures are beautiful. I think I'll put them into my Christian screensaver with Christian music in the background... Thanks That first picture looks like it was taken from a plane or a helicoptor

I lived the area north of Grandfather mountain for about a year, In the city of Boone, so I got to see all four seasons. I worked on all the different mountain tops there helping to build many homes, mostly log cabins. I did the electrical work and the metal roofs on the log cabins and the shingles on a few standard frame type homes. Many of my ancesters lived in a valley near there and some of my distant relatives still live there. The following link is some web cams that sre set up in that area. Now you can see the area in all four seasons without having to leave home.

Your most welcome sister.
That first picture was taken from a barn loft on the top of a hill. It is of the Spoon River area in Illinois. My Grandfather used to fish the Spoon River years ago when it was clean and running calm. There is an old covered bridge just the other side of that hill and right next to that was a picnic area that used to have a small beach. A perfect place to go swimming, fishing and launching boats. Grandpa used to take me there all the time.

That was a super duper "Senior Moment" But just like the rest of us you earned it

Here you go sister. The first one is near the spot where I used to go fishing with my Grandfather. These are from the Blue Ridge Parkway, a scenic road through N. Carolina. The one mountain is called Grand Father Mountain because from the right angle it looks like the face of a bearded grandfather. It is way too easy to get "busy" and not admire Gods work. This time of year is so beautiful and the weather is cool and calm. I always busy myself with winter preperations and miss it. This year, I am going to stop (while out cutting wood for winter ) to admire it more. Good morning Brothers and sisters. God has once again provided in ways I will never understand, but I think the funds are mysteriously available for me to fix my roof Not reroof the whole thing, but a repair is all we need right now So much easier to trust Him than worry. Someday I'll get this lesson to stick

Praise the Lord, Gary. God always meets us at our point of need. I am so happy your roof will be repaired soon.
