Glad you got your coffee, PR.  I keep a little stash too it's that instant coffee stuff that I don't like, but if I run out of coffe at least I have it as a back up and I don't have to search for it cause I won't drink it anyway unless I don't have real coffee, so it's in the same cabinet as my real coffee.   Cheesy

It normally isn't a problem for me. I usually have an extra can at all times. For some reason we didn't do that last month and we went through more than normal. It probably won't happen again either.   Grin Grin Grin

Wal Mart here had the same size for 4 dollars. It has been that price for the last four months. With the new car I couldn't do more than 2 cans for now, but that should be more than I need for the month. Next month will be stock up time.

Walmart from where I am, is over 20 miles away.  The time, wear and tear, on me it wouldn't be worth it.

and there's no guarantee the prices would be the same there as they are here.

The last time I went to the Dollar Store here Folgers was almost 8 dollars a can.

I hate waiting for that first pot. Angry

If I wasn't so cheap I would get one of those pots with a timer so it would be ready when I get up. Wink

Mr coffee has one of those with the automatic timer mine only cost me 12 dollars, I got it at walmart.  Cheesy

Family Dollar store has the Folgers 2.7 pounds for 5 bucks too, and my local supermarket has the same size in their brand for 4 bucks it tastes the same as Folgers, so lately I've been buying that instead. If you have a Publix anywhere near you that is where I buy it

Sometimes you can get very good bargains if you take the time to look around. I know how it is to break the coffee pot and still have a good coffee maker  Sad *bummer*
I found a thrift shop near me that sells the pots by themselves.
