I signed off over a month ago to get my computer repaired,
my repairs were done in a week....Here's what else happened...

I got very sick and went to emergency with kidney attack, pancreatitis attack and gallbladder attack all at the same time.
I was in severe pain to say the least. After a pile of tests it was determined that I had two large gall stones and I would have to have the gallbladder removed.
I had surgery two and a half years ago to try and remove it with scope surgery, but it burst during surgery and the surgeon had to slice me open and do quick repairs. So instead of the gallbladder shrivelling up and dying, mine healed and began to function and cause problems again.
This time I had to have a "liver transplant" incission huge incission from one side of my abdomen to the other, as my liver is located somewhat higher up than is normal and the surgeon was afraid of nicking my bile duct.
I'll keep this short...After the surgery I began to develope a fever, a few days later and many CT scans, Hyda scans and MRI's they discovered a large infection just below my liver. I had a drain put in to clear the poison and I was fed antibiotics through I.V. a week later the poison was cleared out and bile began to drain. My surgeon was horrified. Many more tests revealed a tear in my bile duct, so I must wear this drain and legbag for a few weeks until the tear heals, if it doesn't heal I'll have to have more surgery.
Anyway, I was in hospital for a month, I almost died from infection and I lost 30 pounds. Talk about fun!

I'm thankfull to be back home, and looking forward to carrying on more discussions as soon as I am free of these darned mind numbing pain killers.

Take care friends.

Oklahoma Howdy to BronzeSnake,

Brother, I am so happy to hear that you are on the mend. I've been to that brink twice, and I'm still here. KEEP LOOKING UP!

Father, I ask that you give the doctors wisdom in the treatment of our brother. Lord, give our brother comfort, easing of pain, and peace. Lord, give our brother healing if it is Your Will. I ask these things in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.   Amen.

In Christ.

Oklahoma Howdy to All,

I don't think that anyone has heard from bronzesnake since his last message here. I can't remember for sure, but I think that someone on the forum used to have fairly regular contact with him. I hope he's not back in the hospital, but I know we should continue our prayers for him.

In Christ,
Tom

Hello friends.
I am so sorry I haven't let you know what's going on.
I am having some serious health problems right now and I just don't have the strength or energy at the present time to get out of bed for any length of time.
I received an e-mail from Whitehorse expressing your concern and I let Whitehorse know in some detail what's been going on with me. If anyone wants to ask Whitehorse about me please feel free, I give my blessing and permission for Whitehorse to divulge my info at his discretion.

I thank you all for your prayers and concern and I hope to be back as soon as possible, right now I am in severe pain and I am quite dizzy so I must go.
God bless you all...your brother John

Hello All,

Please Read The Above!

We all need to put our Brother John on our regular prayer list.

Whitehorse, if you would, please do give us additional details so that we may know how best to pray for John.

In Christ,
Tom

We do have a problem. I sent a private message, and while these can be received through email, they can only be replied to through the site. I'm thinking this might be the reason I didn't receive your email. I'm so sorry to hear you haven't been well. I'm praying hard for you. Your rest and recovery is most important.

Hi, Bronzesnake. We're all worried about you and we're wondering how you're doing. Is everything okay? We're praying for you and hope that you are well.

With warmest wishes,
Whitehorse

Hey thank you very much for your concern...all of you.

I have had some serious repercussions from my surgery, for starters I have developed chronic pancreatitis and I am seeing a specialist about that, I have had pancreatitis for several years but it is progressing into a more serious state, also, I have a kidney disease which is presenting some problems for me at the moment.
I don't use the computer much at the present time, as a matter of fact I spend most of my days in bed.
I  hope to be able to get back on the forum soon, as I really do miss it.

Thank you again and please send my thanks along as well as my prayers for all our friends at the forum.
