A baby girl was born at 7:15 central time at 5 lbs 9 ozs. The baby boy was born at 9:10. Both a natural birth. The boy hasn't been weighed as of yet. He had a bit too much fluid in his lungs so they ruched him into an oxygen tent. The Dr assures us that he will be alright though and that it is normal for this to happen. Both babies were born witha rash on their faces. We will know more what this is about tomorrow. The Dr said there are a number of things that could cause it most of these things are nothing to be concerned about but they are not taking chances.

Please pray for them that it is nothing of concern.

CONGRATULATIONS, PR.
I am praying for the babies, I know they will be alright.
Keep us updated.

I haven't gone up there yet today but my son has called. He spent the entire night there. Our new baby boy has been taken off oxygen and is doing fine. He is bigger than the girl. 6 lbs 2 oz, 17 inches while she was 5 lbs 9 ozs and 16 and 3/4 inches. Both babies are nursing quite well.

Praise God and many thanks for answered prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers.

WOW PR, they are big babies for twins. No wonder your daughter in law wanted to have them early (Kidding) God Bless them... Hallelujah
Well our CU family is growing, our grandchildren and children will be the ones here, after we are gone unless the Lord comes first.  Cheesy

Congratulations!!

Grandpa!!

Brother Roger, I just had to tell you again. I've been thinking about how happy I would be for my daughter to have twins, especially a boy and a girl.

I will be a grandpa again in about 8 months, but we obviously don't know much yet. I have kidded her about 4 or 5, and she didn't think that was very funny. BUT, I really think that they would be happy to have twins. They want a little girl real bad to take control of the two boys.  Cheesy  My wife and I will simply be happy to have a healthy baby or babies. Brother, I will pray for their continued health and that God will watch over them.

Love In Christ,
Tom

2 Corinthians 5:5-8 NASB  Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge. Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord -- for we walk by faith, not by sight -- we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
