Amen Sister Maria!

Please, I would also love to be added to that prayer list. Prayer is one of the most precious gifts that one Christian can give to another. I must add that prayer is an awesome tool for the lost in asking God to soften their hearts for HIS WORD.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Psalms 111:7-8 NASB  The works of His hands are truth and justice; All His precepts are sure.  They are upheld forever and ever; They are performed in truth and uprightness.

Me also. I have you all on my prayer list. I agree with Brother Tom here. Prayer is the most beautiful gift that one Christian can offer for another and it is one that I gladly accept.

Jam 5:13  Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Jam 5:14  Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Jam 5:15  And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Jam 5:16  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Jam 5:17  Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
Jam 5:18  And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Jam 5:19  Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Jam 5:20  Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Cheesy to my brothers PR, BEP, DW, Allinall, Bronzesnake, my sister talkercat, and all your families, and many other brothers and sisters not named in this post, you have all become permanent on my prayer list, even when you don't make a special prayer request, God wants you well, He needs you here because He has a calling on you and He is still using you, He has many blessings in store for you and until the day when He calls us home, we all need prayers.  Cheesy.  My prayers are with you always, even in the middle of the night when I wake up, I say a prayer for you. God blesses us through prayer, prayer is a two-fold blessing, it blesses you and it blesses me. God is so wonderful, He can bless us through people we have never met face to face. Just to think about that is so awe-inspireing. That is one of the reason I love this forum. I feel like it is really God Who moderates this place, and He has chosen you PR, BEP, DW and Brother John as His administrators to make sure that it keeps in line with God's Word and His will. I really admire the way you all handle things when they get out of hand, using, wisdom, gentleness and yet being firm. You all really handle your leadership very skillfully, so just as I pray for my pastor I pray for you all. Cheesy

Grin  That's new for me also.

Eh!! - I'll be B.A.D.

That ought to be enough to put a smile on any Christian's face.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Ephesians 3:14-19 NASB  For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

ON FIRE FOR THE LORD!

Thank you, Maria, Tom and Pastor Roger for your kind and encouraging replies - I don't know where I went wrong in offering to pray for Praise1 but I guess I offended him/her in doing so.  Cry    . . all the more reason to pray, right?

I'm growing fonder and fonder of the people here and all three of you are on my prayer chain!  Not just a list, for my sole prayers, but on a chain that I lead through my church . . . It grows longer every day as we add people to it.  The Lord is with us as we hold each other up in our everyday lives.  This site is blessed - God uses His people in every way possible (including the internet) to spread the gospel and the good news of Jesus Christ.

So my sister, and brothers PRAY ON!  Jesus Rocks!  God is Awesome! Glory, glory, glory!  Holy is His name!  My heart's on fire for Jesus!

Blessings -

ps: Sister Maria, I have responded a couple of tiimes to your offer of information on the names of God - YES, by all means use my email address.  I look forward to hearing from you!  Smiley

AMEN TALKERCAT!

Sister Terri, it makes me happy to think about the friendship and fellowship we have here. I was just thinking that the LORD is surely happy with many of the things that the sweet Christians here do. We are joined together in praise and worship of HIM, and we are trying to give GOD all the Glory, Honor, and Praise. I'm positive that HE loves to hear our prayers, and it really doesn't matter that we've never seen or met each other. Where two or three are gathered in HIS NAME, the LORD is there. I sincerely believe that the LORD is here, and I pray that HE leads and guides us to do HIS Will.

I was also thinking about the thousands of guests who read the forum every day. They might not ever become members or introduce themselves, but I pray that they read something here that softens their hearts and leads them to our Lord and Saviour, JESUS CHRIST. I give thanks to GOD for allowing the love and fellowship here. I also give thanks for the many posts that may help the lost and strengthen each Christian here. Most of all, I give thanks that the LORD is here with us.

Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!, JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour forever!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Hebrews 10:19-23 NASB  Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
