Brothers and Sisters,
Most of you know that Brother John (Bronzesnake) just got home from a very lengthy hospital stay.
I heard some news today from Brother John, and I wanted to share it with you. He posted on the forum that he lost a lot of weight in the hospital. The weight loss is because of problems eating, and Brother John is still having a lot of problems eating.
The original reason for John going to the hospital was a serious pancreatic problem that has been very difficult to bring under control. In fact, the doctor is still trying to bring it under control, and the condition results in a lot of pain. Brother John is currently in a lot of pain that the doctors have not been able to manage yet. So, John will be seeing a specialist in the next several days.
Brothers and Sisters, please keep Brother John in your prayers and ask God to give his doctors skill in helping John eat and ease his pain. This has been a long and hard struggle, so please pray for John's entire family.
Love in Christ, Tom

Brothers and Sisters,
I know that God loves to hear our prayers, so prayer is one of the most precious gifts we can give to someone we love or care about.
Love In Christ, Tom
Philippians 4:6-7 NASB Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Brothers, and sisters, it has been almost a month since brother John has come home. Since the ninth, he hasn't posted so I am asking that you keep him in your prayers. I know quite a few of us, do have each other in our prayers. But I am asking thast we pray a little harder for Brother John. (Bronzesnake)
Resting in the hands, of the Lord. Bob
Revelation 3:19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude].

Hello my friends.
It brings a tear to my eye to see all the concern and love here that my brothers and sisters have shown me...Thank you all very much, it really tugs at my heart strings.
Here's an update for you...
I have been in very bad shape for over two weeks now, it was just as bad as it was while I was hospitalised. I have been informed my our family doctor that there is a waiting list of over a full year before I can get in to see the specialist that I need to see. This specialist is certified to prescribe a strong pain medicine which I require to deal with the pain I am having. It's pretty discouraging, but that's how our Canadian medical system is at the moment. Many well off people are pushing for a two tiered system. Our Conservative government opposition party is pushing hard for this privatization of our medicare also. The Conservatives up here in Canada are supposed to have the most the "Christians" of all our parties, but they cater to the well off exclusively. So if you can afford to pay, you can jump to the head of the waiting line.
Lots of us lower income level people smell the rat, but are powerless to do anything about it. Now, more than ever, the parties are completely ignoring poor folks.
My family doctor is a really great guy, and he is doing his best to keep me comfortable. I have had my analgesic patch dosage raised to a stronger dose, and he has given me all the pain pills I need.
God bless you all. I'm off to bed now, so if I'm not back for a while...Have a very merry Christmas.
John Bronzesnake

John! Praise God you were feeling up to responding! I hope our concern and prayers help you even more than lifting your spirit. But I have a question that hopefully, you'll be well enough to see and answer. Is your home church able to help you at all by meeting your financial need in this matter? I know it's a tough governmental system you're having to deal with, but is there any way to put you "at the head of the line?" I'm praying for you Brother, both for your health and for your spirit - that you'll not be discouraged in this trial God's allowing in your life. I'm praying for strength, and that whatever lesson God is teaching you is one you learn well and love Him more for in the days to come. Your Brother in Christ, Kevin
